Yes, I do think he is protecting the weaker ones but he is so paranoid, I think he sometimes jumps too quickly to lock down the system. Polyvore was terrible for our paranoia. We are doing such a better job on Urstyle. I'm so glad you read about Caine because I do think it helps you to understand us better. We are so grateful for the gift of your friendship. @gypsy-jo Good question!!! You're making me think now. This is good for me and one reason I started the blog. I think we mostly refer to our body as "the body" because we all use it at one time or another. No one really claims ownership of it. The body is a vessel that we all live in. It ages. We don't. Maybe that is why we don't really take ownership of it. We all care for the body but some alters don't even like to be in the body because it is so much older than they are. I hope this answers your questions a little bit. It could be the dissociation we all feel too. We feel we are alive apart from the body--inside. Mel is the most comfortable person in the body because she has aged with the body for so many years. Thank you for your comment and for allowing me to think about how we all work.
