Mystique - My Life as a Multiple #15

This may be a very short blog entry because it is about one of my alters who basically remains silent. Mystique is much like her name, a mystery. She is with Jesse's alter, Ioku, his little Asian alter. Mystique and Ioku lead a quiet, private life together. When I sit silent for a long time, Jesse will often ask if Mystique is out. That's usually the case.
Some alters are very quiet. In fact it took a long time before I even knew she was there. When I fell in love with Jesse, his alter found Mystique almost immediately and it was then she stepped forward and I knew she was there. Alters who are quiet often keep the secrets. Mystique is full of secrets and is one of my alters who is against the blog. I'm telling secrets about us and how we work. Mystique doesn't tell and she doesn't want me to tell. When I picked this picture for Mystique, it was because of the look on her face. She is almost daring anyone to come close. Mystique would keep us in a bubble if she could and not allow anyone access to us.
Stefan, her twin alter, stays very close to her. He protects her and he insisted that I make his picture right after I made hers so I did. You can almost see his protective gaze as he guards her. I will write about Stefan in his own journal entry because he is a fascinating guy. But certain alters do work as protective alters over others. The children are very protected by everyone. Mystique is in her early teens and a very gentle soul. However, she is rock solid in her belief that the system not tell the secrets we have kept for our whole life.
Some of Mystique's artwork can be seen on @Houseofstone and in my opinion, it is some of our most profound and beautiful art. She seems to speak in emotions and it seems that many of our emotions are kept within Mystique.

She is absolutely beautiful, almost exotic looking, she does look guarded though, she is cautious. Every alter you have introduced us to, seems protective in someway.
