We can then see you are a real person and this really alleviates our anxiety in writing the blog. So, I am so grateful that you wrote your comment out. That must have been so hard for you at the time being so young and all. But you got through it and became a nurse and I bet your were/are a wonderful one. You are so kind to me and so supportive. @darkprince Yes, darling, no one plays chess with Seph unless they want to lose. Seph works well with Nico because his strategy helps Nico with his ever vigilant security of the house and the people in it. They strategize and I'm sure they were instrumental in working together to convince us to get the new security system which has been a godsend for our anxiety. Kisses.

Hello sweetie, all these alters still seem they are a defense mechanism to protect you. I understand anxiety, in my clinical depression I also suffered panic attacks. After my brain injury my anxiety was through the roof and had no patience and was frustrated, so I can relate to the anxiety part. I hope Nico doesn't feel threaten by us. He looks like a sweet young man, a sensitive little fellow. Good you have added security to help alleviate some of him fears, and ease some of your anxiety also. You have a good weekend sweetie. @sjlew Thank you so much for your very sweet comment!!! Jesse and I always look forward to your comments. I think you are right on--they are defense mechanisms to protect my system from any further hurt. There are parts of the system for soothing as well. Mira is one but I haven't done a blog entry on her yet. I think she is next. Yes, anxiety and panic attacks are the worst! We have had those in the past and the feelings are just awful. I'm so sorry you have suffered from anxiety as well. It is a really tough thing and you know how important it is to protect your mind after that. I hope you have a wonderful day, sweet one!!! I so understand what I call the "horror" of anxiety and panic attacks, I can imagine for a young person it has to be even worse. I haven't been on the last few days because I have been going through a bout of anxiety and panic because my medicine was late being refilled. The physical toll it takes on my body is just as bad as the mental so I've been sleeping to recooperate since I got my medicine. As I read your blogs I always remind myself how their is always someone who has it worse than me and then in your comments see how many people that experience unfortunately the same things I do. To whatever degree it is horrible. I'm glad that you are doing this and hope very much it is helping you in some way! Hugs, Rhana xo

@rboowybe I'm so sorry, Rhana that your medication was delayed. I completely understand what it is like when you run out. I am so grateful for your comment and for taking the time to read the blogs. It is always good to know others share your problems and it makes you feel like you are not alone. I had a bout of anxiety last night and it was awful. I can certainly sympathize. Anxiety isn't a good thing, but Nico and some others of your alters (but I think each of them) try to protect you and it's understandable. Nico doesn't trust other people, right? But maybe it's not a bad thing. You can't trust everyone. But seems like Nico is a nice and a bit shy guy

@asia-12 You are so right--Nico does not trust other people. They really have to prove themselves to Nico. But once he trusts you, it takes something big for him to lose trust in you. He is very loyal. Thank you for asking your question, it makes me think and that is what this blog is for. Thank you for supporting my blog as well as Jesse's.
