Shy, you're not wrong in suggesting a fee. Many of us on PV would have paid a monthly fee to keep the site going, and if it were needed here, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Sometimes you have to pay to play, and that's just the way of it.
The main problem actually seems to be that every time they make a new improvement, the site has an adjustment period that pretty much knocks out everything for days if not longer. They just improved several things, according to the Twitter feed, so it's no surprise that there are now issues.
Yes, it's frustrating. Yes, they may lose people because of it. That being said, they are doing their best to take care of us. That in itself says to me that they pay more attention to what we need than PV ever did, and for that I'll stick it out regardless of the problems. It's been worth it. They cannot fix it all at once. We just have to hang in there if we want to continue to play here.
We're getting all of this for FREE, people, so bitching about it is counterproductive and ungrateful. <---- That statement is not addressed to any one person, it is addressed to everyone in general.
