โฑโฑโฑ Unless asked otherwise, you definitely shouldn't read someone else's info because maybe it's not as fun to spoil it all for yourself haha. The NPCs are a different story. Go for it! And I won't stop you from checking out the other playables. I'm just saying that it might not be as fun if you do haha.

โฑโฑโฑ I decided to include every family in this, if only to say where they stand on the feud. But I kept things pretty general for most of the characters who aren't playable. There are obvious exceptions to this where I had clear ideas. However, I tried to keep the main focus of my plotting on coming up with cool things with you guys! If you see a plot for an NPC you'd rather have though, don't be afraid to ask.

โฑโฑโฑ Please know that the "perception" and "reflection" parts of the plotting are NOT supposed to be about who your character truly is. It is only what Polaris thinks of them and . . . what she thinks your character thinks of her{ this is phrased poorly but, hopefully, you got what I meant haha. }. It could possibly be very wrong. In many cases, that's the whole point. I am happy to change these ideas if you aren't happy with them, of course, but please know that this section was not me trying to summarize your character in any way. Polaris sees what she wants to see. Polaris thinks in ways of how she can use people. I promise that I know your character is much more developed and complex than what I have debased them to.

โฑโฑโฑ OPEN HEADCANONS (#2): One of my headcanons is about Lara's previous relationship with Sam Annenberg. When I glanced at people, I simply thought she made the most sense. However, I'm more than happy to replace her with your character if we want to work something out! Obviously, Sam is still the girl who juggles between Ysabela and Polaris, but the whole "abandoned friendship" can be our plot if it ends up making sense!

    โฑโฑโฑ OPEN HEADCANONS (#14, NAME1, NAME2): This refers to both her first kiss and the one her first boyfriend back in eighth grade. They could honestly be any guys. I'll just pick random ones if no one wants to take either spot. { NAME1 = Xavier Finchum | NAME2 = Gabriel Haynes }

    โฑโฑโฑ OPEN HEADCANONS (#16, NAME3): The most "serious" relationship she ever had, and someone with a tiny bit of specific qualifications. He needs to be one { or two, but definitely not three } years old and at least somewhat cool. { NAME3 =Evan Swan }

    โฑโฑโฑ OPEN HEADCANONS (#19, NAME4): The fool who puked in her car, thus inspiring the no-food rule!! { NAME4 = Kali Mooney }

โฑโฑโฑ Just because people aren't in her closest clique doesn't mean they're not in her general friend group. Like I said, it's pretty large. In general, anyone in high school needs to let us know whether they're aligned on #๐•ฟ๐–Š๐–†๐–’๐•ป๐–”๐–‘๐–†๐–—๐–Ž๐–˜ or #๐•ฟ๐–Š๐–†๐–’๐–„๐–˜๐–†๐–‡๐–Š๐–‘๐–†. We don't mess around! No neutral parties! lol. I kind of kid, but you know . . .

โฑโฑโฑ If someone has any magic in them or in their objects and they knew Polaris when they were younger, there's a possibility there was an incident where Lara couldn't control her siphoning because of her emotions and she hurt them / messed with whatever they had / etc.

โฑโฑโฑ Sorry, not sorry. Polaris is hot af. If you don't have a crush on her, you're lying. I'm just kidding lmfao. Unless . . . ?

โฑโฑโฑ I could imagine that if someone is one of the girls Polaris has hooked up with at a party { sort of related to headcanon #13 }, they might have some sort of hatred and pity for her . . . especially when she starts going on actual fucking dates with Sebastian Warrick-Dupont of all people. Like, what the fuck? Polaris is tripping.

โฑโฑโฑ There can definitely be someone she is considering "taking under her wing" to turn into the next queen bee.

โฑโฑโฑ Is anyone else on the cheer team? Or the event planning committee? Because those are some major connections for Polaris!

โฑโฑโฑ Let's talk Miss Mystic Falls! First, there's the boy who escorted her for it last year. Polaris would not have bothered competing as a freshmen. Also, there could be some drama regarding who might escort her this year. Obviously, Ysabela and Polaris might both be eyeing Xavier for his "good luck charm." Polaris might feel obligated to take Sebastian for her plans, but gods . . . he is practically a bad luck charm. And maybe there can be other drama as well! I'm happy to get crazy with this.

โฑโฑโฑ I do not think I want Polaris that involved in the "to open or not to open" drama of the tomb. Maybe she could be, depending on how Charlotte and Sebastian end up involved. { I guess if she steals some magic from their mother, she could help Sebastian open it? If someone is blackmailing him / forcing him to do so? } But I do want her to be plagued by plenty of drama once they're out!

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris is going to be turned into a vampire eventually, duh, so she can be her evil witch-bloodsucker hybrid monster self. Zephyr is going to be the one who actually turns her. But there is aaaallllllllll kinds of shenanigans we can get up to regarding this: potential snacks, murder, almost-murder, trying to kill her, turning people, etc.

โฑโฑโฑ You know, I'm a sucker for some hatred, so I really wouldn't mind if there ended up being someone that Polaris is on good / fine terms with right now, but they end up truly loathing one another. Like not even the petty high school shit she has with Ysabela. But true, evil hatred that leads to all kinds of rash acts, holding people hostages, the works.

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris has a general dislike of the founding families. She finds their elitism to be insufferable, and it disgusts her that their names are engraved on every plaque or sign in town. The Leanders are the worst of this sordid lot. Jada only has her position through backwards favoritism. If the town weren't so backward, a number of actually qualified candidates would be in mayor instead. As for her daughter . . . Ysabela is not simply an annoyance; she is Lara's sworn nemesis. That means, by association, anyone else bearing the Leander name is on the wrong side of the war. If she had a heart, maybe Polaris could feel slightly bad about Marco. She knows how it feels to lose a father, after all, but she can't help the cold, callous place where any thoughts of Ysabela reside. There is no room for pity there. In Lara's eyes, all Leanders be damned.

๐๐„๐‘๐‚๐„๐๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Ysabela is like a little toddler. In middle school, she saw Polaris at the top of the world โ€” a shoo-in to one day be queen. Ysabela had her own interests and didn't much care for popularity . . . until she saw someone else have it. Ever since, she has been throwing a fit. Years raised in the spotlight of town elite made her spoiled and pathetic. She's never earned a thing in her life, that much is clear. Everyone knows that useless Twitter account of hers would've been shut down by the school and / or the police years ago if her mother weren't the mayor. The only thing keeping Ysabela afloat is nepotism. And that's what makes her so vulnerable. Life has been handed to her on a silver platter; she doesn't know what it's like in the trenches. Devotion towards Ysabela is inspired by fear. And fear can always be manipulated.

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Ysabela despises Polaris. She sees her as a lowly dissenter against the way things are. Frankly, no one should be falling in line behind Polaris. All she has to offer are pretty smiles and empty promises. There is nothing deep or interesting about her. Are they really fooled by her cheerleader persona and baby pink skirts? She's basic, and if the keys to the kingdom were hers, everything would have fallen apart by now. Sure, the town is too dim to see it themselves, but Ysabela has had to deal with not being clever enough to keep up with her for her entire life. They should be grateful to have Ysabela combatting Polaris. Otherwise, everyone would see just how inept that Emani filth truly is.

โฑโฑโฑ Well, we all know how this tale begins.

โฑโฑโฑ So what we really need to know is, where do we go from here?

โฑโฑโฑ Maia and Ysabela found the Emanis up and leaving during the online school session to be quite odd, so they did some digging. They couldn't find anything about what was really going . . . but that didn't stop them from discovering that Lara's father who abandoned her had a new family in Florida. Airing that dirty laundry will certainly sting. Did Ysabela know that Polaris had no idea? Or did she think it was simply a secret she wasn't fond of others knowing? Polaris will seem genuinely upset about it . . . because she is. So will that make her feel bad at all? Not that I expect her ice to begin thinning or cracking or whatever. But just curious how she will feel in the face of Lara's genuine pain in finding this news out.

โฑโฑโฑ I wouldn't be mad if a bit of a fight as they both campaign for homecoming royalty all throughout the week, especially because Lara will be further campaigning on behalf of Diane for the senior homecoming queen spot. I like the idea of a direct confrontation and some collateral damage;)

โฑโฑโฑ I actually just realized that I didn't fill you in on the major Chloe drama, which obviously impacts Ysabela. You can absolutely skip down to her name and check that out because your character will be highly impacted / involved!

โฑโฑโฑ I still need to work this out with people, but it's possible that Polaris will still be sleeping with Xavier while she is publicly dating Sebastian. Ouch. And the exact kind of dirt that we know Maia and Ysabela love to dig up.

โฑโฑโฑ I also think there might be an opportunity for their relationships with Zephyr and Solina to get them into some very sticky situations. When you know how Ysabela is connected to them, we can plan further!

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris might be in the business of trying to get Maia on her side. I'm sure that will cause infinite drama lol.

โฑโฑโฑ The balancing act of Sam is important, and I'm sure we will find ways to utilize that drama. I just . . . don't know of any right now tbh.

โฑโฑโฑ I cannot give you an exact date for when Polaris will turn into a vampire, so while that will be fun, I think the post-vampire plans should only be talked about in generalities. If you have anything you want from a freshly-turned crazy kid, though, I'm all ears! I don't mind her getting up to all kinds of nonsense haha.

โฑโฑโฑ But lbr if you think Polaris won't prey on her and suck some of her blood then force her to forget a few times . . .

โฑโฑโฑ It's really tough for me to plan things out because on one hand I want to be like, "Ah this should happen senior year." And on the other hand, I'm all, "Raegen, don't kid yourself. If you want to write that part of the story you should probably do it sooner because no group lives that long." But maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment because here we go. I think it would be more fun if the Carrie event at MMF were next year aka senior year. I knoooowwwww. I know. The absolute tragedy. But I just feel like another year of supernatural nonsense under their belt would make for the best chaos. That's probably foolish of me, but it's how I feel. Then I also don't lowkey feel pressured to Turn her by March lmfao. It's tough though bc I also want that drama like . . . yesterday haha.

โฑโฑโฑ Yes, people, yes. There is a redemption arc in there somewhere. We just . . . have no fucking clue yet.

โฑโฑโฑ But most importantly, of course . . . we know what we have to look forward to someday ;)

โฑโฑโฑ The Hansbridges are the perfect example of why founding families should not be held up as royalty in town. It is not because they fell from grace that they themselves should be ashamed. It is because the other five watched them do so without batting an eye. The others are to blame. What has happened โ€” and is still happening โ€” to the Hansbridge family members only highlights how hypocritical the founding mentality is. All these events and organizations promote caring for one's community, but they turned their back when someone actually asked for help. That is why Polaris finds the actual Hansbridge children so puzzling. It doesn't make sense for their loyalties to lie with the old elite, to side with Ysabela. They must be brainwashed, despite their own familial history painting important lessons. So if they want to try to recover what their name has lost by pandering to the same people that failed them . . . well, that's a mistake they're allowed to make. Polaris won't waste her time wishing such failure was on her side anyway. Leonardo is cute but little more than a pretty face. And sure, Adam is dating one of her very best friends, but if he doesn't know how to think for himself enough to escape the clutches of Ysabela and tradition, so be it.

โฑโฑโฑ Reginald is one sadistic son-of-a-bitch . . . and Polaris could almost like that about him, if it weren't for everything else. At the very least, she respects him. She also prefers to keep a healthy distance from him. The Byrnes are the embodiment of everything Polaris dislikes most. Especially with Maia's snooping little nose sniffing up Ysabela's ass all the time, there's not a single reason for Lara to do anything except loathe this entire branch. She tried to put those feelings aside to convince Nora Byrne that Polaris should be the next rightful heir, but now, she looks back on that period of her life with disgust. Pandering to the system she hates is probably why Polaris failed to eradicate Ysabela from the very beginning. She won't make the mistake of bowing her head again, even if just temporarily. So if that means she has to make an enemy of every Byrne there is, so be it.

If anyone deserves to have a good punch in the nose, it's Maia Byrne. Maybe then she'd learn to keep it in her own damn business. Polaris finds Ysabela's sidekick to be boring and tedious. She spent a year with her on the school newspaper as sophomores, and all she really learned was that Maia was stubborn about getting to the bottom of everything. Well, duh. But Lara isn't foolish. She knows the Leander and Byrne parents aren't exactly fond of one another. And Maia is clearly the reason Ysabela has half the dirt on people in school. If there is anyone worth wooing to switch to #TeamPolaris, it's this girl. Too bad she's so damn annoying. Polaris tried to convince Nora Byrne to be on her side, and we all know how that worked out. She does hold a hearty grudge for making this mess in the first place. However, Polaris is thinking of making the same mistake twice by also catering to Maia. She can suck it up, right? She's nothing if not a good actress.

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Maia knows that Polaris can't be as squeaky clean as she sees, but she also knows not to poke the sleeping bear too often. Ysabela and Polaris can't have too many direct confrontations; not unless Maia wants the entire town to burn down. And she doesn't feel that way. Yet?

๐‚๐Ž๐๐๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐๐’ โ€ขโ€ข Lifelong Mystic Falls residents, Mystic Falls High School students, Miss Mystic Falls pageant competitors, Timberwolves Newspaper

โฑโฑโฑ Maia smells secrets and mysteries when she sees them, but Lara is an entirely different kind of dangerous. She's not just hiding idle teen gossip in that closet. Honestly, Maia is part of the reason that Polaris tries so hard to seem like an open book. She doesn't want her sniffing around. And, at least for now, Maia is mostly falling for it. Lara makes sure to leave little snippets here and there โ€” kernels of meaningless drama that the Byrne can pick up on. She has to, in order to keep her distracted from the magical truth that runs in her veins.

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris never knew to hide the information about her father's second family. She had no idea. It's the first time Maia's sleuthing has truly cut Polaris down, and that has changed everything about how she views the other girl. Maybe she's been letting her run around untethered for too long . . .

โฑโฑโฑ Then again, Maia seems to be more about sleuthing than cutting people down. Will she be affected at all by the fact that Polaris is deeply hurt by this news Maia unleashed? Or has being around Ysabela so closely for so long desensitized her to others' pain?

โฑโฑโฑ In general, I think we could come up with a fun campaign of Polaris trying to get Maia on her side. She could even . . . dangle some bait about the supernatural somehow? Like try to get Maia to discover some things in a way that makes her think Polaris might have answers? Because, I mean, she does. But then Polaris would obviously try to find a narrative to make Maia switch her loyalties somehow. Not saying it has to work. Might be a fun plot to try though haha.

โฑโฑโฑ As it's obviously impossible to have a Maia plot without also having an Ysabela one, you're more than welcome to read that if you want to. In fact, there's also the matter of Chloe to be dealt with. Will Maia hate the girl for trying to become Ysa's new best friend? Could she possibly feel replaced at all? I'm just wondering if there's some weakness that Polaris could try to exploit haha.

โฑโฑโฑ So yeah, as I said in the Ysabela part as well: I still need to work this out with people, but it's possible that Polaris will still be sleeping with Xavier while she is publicly dating Sebastian. Ouch. And the exact kind of dirt that we know Maia and Ysabela love to dig up. There's probably some drama here we could uncover! And honestly, I was wondering if her unrequited love could maybe be towards Xavier or Sebastian? So idk maybe then she has a small quandary over actually wanting to air the secret because she doesn't want the boy she cares for to be hurt by the drama somehow. I sincerely don't care if you don't want this bit. Just trying to add layers here or there!

โฑโฑโฑ I did laugh at the idea of Polaris herself being that unrequited crush, but I doubt that's the path you're looking to go down? haha. I love your bodyguard thing, too. Unfortunately, I don't see anyone letting Polaris do such a task. Especially because she's, you know, not exactly the protecting type. I hope you find someone fun though!

โฑโฑโฑ What I don't really know is how they would've interacted as kids, preteens, etc. Was there always a bit of a divide? Were they once playground buddies?

โฑโฑโฑ This is much too far off, but I am thinking that Polaris will be rather in over her head once those vamps are released from a tomb. I don't think it would be too out of bounds for her to try and like . . . hold Maia as ransom to get her own freedom from them or something hahaha. Wow that's terrible, but Polaris is supposed to be evil underneath so I'm trying to roll with it lol. Something to think about, I suppose.

โฑโฑโฑ Don't worry if you're not a fan of any of these plots! I'm more than happy to try something else. Let me know what ideas you might have, especially if they're different than this :)

โฑโฑโฑ If Polaris were being honest, she might admit that the reason she cozied up to Diane at first was to get a token founding family member into her fold. But things have gone much further than that these days. Lara might . . . genuinely like the Dantons, despite it violating some of her most basic principles. Seo-Yun was happy to teach her things that her own father was not around to do. When her car broke down a few miles outside of town, it was not a tow truck she called, but Diane's dad. ๐๐„๐‘๐‚๐„๐๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Diane is the perfect popular girl. She is talented, intelligent, and knows how to hold a good conversation. There's nothing better than sitting in a corner and gossiping the night away with her. Polaris doesn't always understand her, which is a bit frustrating. She understands everyone. But part of that intrigue is what drew her to Diane in the first place. Diane is the closest thing she has to a real friend, despite neither of them realizing just how fake and surface-level the other girl is being.

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Diane almost likes the catty drama between Polaris and Ysabela. It's funny! It leads to plenty of hilarious stories! And though she wouldn't think of Lara when she needs anything deep or thoughtful, their times together are light and breezy. Polaris is the perfect person to go to when she wants to forget all her woes for a little while. There's nothing like a slumber party at the Emani's place, even if that basement has always set her a little on edge for some reason.

โฑโฑโฑ Aka Cherry Pie, or just Cherry.

โฑโฑโฑ Yeah so actually the biggest question I have is like . . . when did they become friends? Freshmen year? In middle school? I don't really care, but I'm assuming Rowan + Diane were friends first, then Polaris just kinda swooped in haha. If you have a timeline in mind, let me know!

โฑโฑโฑ Diane and Polaris have much more in common than they realize, and keeping their supernatural identities a secret has taken a toll on them. Their friendship is rather fake and doesn't dive into anything beyond fashion, who won the latest football or soccer game, and what rumors are snaking their way through town. That's because both girls are terrified of their dark sides and what it means to truly let someone in. Until they have no choice . . .

โฑโฑโฑ In the weeks leading up to Homecoming, Polaris will do her part. She will campaign for her "beloved" Diane to be the senior queen. She'll attend all her games and cheer from the sidelines. But a little drama will be hidden underneath it all.

โฑโฑโฑ While Polaris was away, Ysabela decided to play a little game with her friends to see how they fared with her gone. One aspect of that was to see if there were any weak links among them . . . the primary target being Rowan. Diane and Rowan are incredibly close, but it's no secret that Rowan and Polars tend to bicker with one another. So Ysabela planted loving and long postcards with tales of her travels but especially how much she missed her friends. Only the one for Rowan simply said, "Having a blast. See you never, maybe? Can't think of any reasons to come home when I'm in a place like this. x, Polaris." Rowan chalked it up to a silly joke until she saw how sweet the one on Diane's desk was, and then it felt personal. Rowan is, after all, very sensitive. Polaris and Diane know full well that she needs validation and support. So why would Lara do this to her?

โฑโฑโฑ Rowan confessed it to Diane, who promised to help her address it once Polaris was home. But Lara accidentally put Diane in the middle without realizing it when she came back on the 26th. Apparently, she just wanted a few days to relax. She wanted to see Diane because she'd missed her so so much. But maybe she could keep the secret of Lara's return at least for a tiny bit? So she didn't tell Rowan that Polaris was back in town . . . which will add more fuel to that fire, if / when she finds out.

โฑโฑโฑ And that brings us to the present: September 30th. Lara will promise Diane early in the day that she's not going to Izaro's party. But then she shows up anyway? Now Diane looks like an idiot for saying Lara was still out of the country, and Rowan is as suspicious as she is drunk. It doesn't help that Polaris is a bit dismissive of her bad mood. "Don't pout, Ro! Try to have fun for once!" Yikes. And then Polaris is flitting about to everyone else for the rest of the night, trying to remind her loyal subjects what it's like to have a true queen around. She doesn't realize that she might be taking Rowan's loyalty for granted. And the anger simmers . . .

โฑโฑโฑ Just as Rowan is about to confront Polaris about her being a piece of shit, Ysabela strikes again. Lara will be crushed to find this news of her father and his family. And even though Rowan is upset still, she isn't heartless. She puts off her own baggage to try to support Polaris. However, this does secretly make it worse because there are some small micro-slights towards her. Since Rowan is already reading so much into what Polaris is doing, she doesn't take them for what they really are. Lara is just a little too absorbed right now to realize she's neglecting Rowan on accident. Due to that letter, though, and everything else piling up, Rowan can't help but feel it's on purpose. And poor Diane wants to be there for both of her friends. She doesn't know what to do because what seems good for one girl might hurt the other.

โฑโฑโฑ Unfortunately, things are heating up. Polaris is on overdrive juggling all her clubs, a full cheerleading schedule, and setting up one of the most elaborate homecomings ever. Why was she gone for seven weeks again, when this town NEEDS her? She hardly has a moment to spare. Even Diane notices she seems to be . . . unraveling around the edges. She urges Rowan to just let it go and settle things after the dance. Just focus on how much fun they can have together! It's Diane's last homecoming, after all! Once it's behind them, Lara will be back to her usual fun self. They can talk all about it. And everything will be just fine.

โฑโฑโฑ Except we both know it won't be just fine.

โฑโฑโฑ So, of course, Polaris thinks Diane did it. Diane learned some terrible truths and, yes, did do something else awful as well. But in the face of her grief, Polaris is being an absolute . . . well, let's just say it. She's being a bit of a cunt. And frankly, Lara was not nearly as afraid of the supernatural as she should've been. Under that pool of sadness, Diane is also confused and suspicious.

โฑโฑโฑ There's a rift between them. Cavernous and deep. Their light-hearted, surface-level friendship was never meant to handle anything more than spilling nail polish on the counter. And this . . . this is too much.

โฑโฑโฑ Then Polaris makes things even worse by lashing out. After all, Diane and Lara's separation is huge news at the school. It makes Lara seem weak. She can't handle losing her reputation on top of everything else. So, yeah, she does come after Diane a bit to try and discredit her. But that confrontation leads to the final truth. Diane thought Polaris was a witch. Now she knows . . . it's much worse.

โฑโฑโฑ But Polaris has a final chance to try and make it up to Diane. A night in agony for the both of them changes everything. For once, they feel like they actually know the other person. There's a small chance . . . a flicker, really . . . that they might be able to be friends. For real this time.

โฑโฑโฑ Like everyone else, Polaris remembers the tragic deaths of Marie and Matthew. That was the first time she had been to a funeral before. Even her callousness was softened upon seeing the three Finchum children, together and yet so alone, in the front row. But time has a way of pushing such thoughts away. Even though their tragic passing meant everything to their orphaned kids, it was simply a passing moment for Polaris. Her life was not deeply impacted by their absence. Years melted away. She was honestly shocked when, years later, Xavier and Amber didn't take her side in things. Xavier was, after all, her first boyfriend. Was this part of him getting back at her for running away before he could kiss her? As the proverbial king of MFHS, Xavier is a powerful ally . . . and an even greater foe. Despite the Finchum allegiances for the wrong girl, Polaris does not consider them a lost cause. They're simply allies who haven't realized it themselves yet.

Xavier is kinda like the one that got away. Sort of. Sure, they're still sleeping together, but it doesn't mean anything. It can't, really, because Polaris already fucked up this relationship years ago. She keeps a calloused distance because she doesn't trust him. He's probably just a mindless drone who will fulfill the roles given to him and be a good founding families boy, just like he's supposed to. If he's more than that . . . well, Lara can't let herself think about it. She can't let herself get to know that other side of him. Because then she might do something terrible like regret what happened. Or, even worse, grow some kind of attachment. No, no, better to keep each other at arm's length and keep things strictly physical.

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Maybe everyone else forgot the little brat that Polaris was in elementary because she's been sweet to them ever since, but Xavier hasn't. Not to mention that little ego-sting that came along with rejecting his kiss and then completely ghosting him a few years ago too. Sure, they were still pretty much kids, but it still sucked. Half the school seems to either fear Ysabela or think Polaris is so nice. But Xavier doesn't see Lara that way. He knows there's something under the surface, and the sunny act is all a lie. Maybe that's why she keeps pushing him away. She knows he's right, but she can't let him get close enough to confirm it.

๐‚๐Ž๐๐๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐๐’ โ€ขโ€ข Lifelong Mystic Falls residents, Mystic Falls High School students, Timberwolves athletes, Event Planning Committee

โฑโฑโฑ Mystic Falls may see her as their warm ray of sunshine, but Xavier has seen Lara's cold side. There was that . . .edge to her when they were "dating" a few years back. Sure, kids don't really know what dating is besides holding hands at the mall. But he remembers the way she ghosted him for literal months instead of breaking up with him. Not to mention how he recalls some . . . odd moments during elementary school too. Polaris has always had a selfish attitude. Yes, Xavier knows people can grow up. But he's not surprised that it's still there just beneath the surface.

โฑโฑโฑ He's the son of a founding family. He knows what he's getting with Ysabela. She's cold, sure, but at least he feels like he understands where she's coming from. Polaris is unpredictable and, frankly, fake. Xavier isn't sure he can trust her.

โฑโฑโฑ But you don't have to trust someone to sleep with them. Oops?

โฑโฑโฑ Over the summer, a bunch of friends went on a camping trip in the woods. It's a very common activity. Polaris and some of her friends went, but Xavier's own pals were intermingled amongst the larger group. Technically, the two of them wouldn't have to interact. But one minor shoulder injury later, Xavier was staying behind at the campsite, and Lara was just not in the mood to go swimming again. One thing led to another. And another. And they're both still pretending like this isn't a regular hook-up and this certainly isn't going anywhere.

โฑโฑโฑ Xavier was still reeling from getting dumped. Polaris doesn't do relationships. She didn't mind being a sort of rebound. I mean, he's hot and fun to hook up with. He pretty much feels the same way about her. But now it's been almost six months. It's clear they need to talk about something because this situationship is messing with their heads. Neither really has the emotional maturity to do that though. So instead of a frank conversation that could fix everything, they're a bit passive-aggressive. They get into tiffs here and there. Mind games are the daily norm.

โฑโฑโฑ Neither one would admit it, of course . . . but the fact that he's on "Ysabela's side" means they have to kinda sneak around. And it's hot;)

โฑโฑโฑ Xavier is, however, getting a bit frustrated with the way things are going. It's quite obvious that they missed each other for the weeks that Polaris was traveling, but they're both too stubborn to admit it. Any time he tries to talk to her before or after, Lara shuts down. He knows they're just having a physical fling, but come on! After so long, why is she acting like they can't hold a conversation?

โฑโฑโฑ Whereas Polaris is just terrified of letting him in, especially because she's not an idiot. He has a crush on Sam Annenberg, the girl who shattered Lara's heart back in freshmen year. If that's the kind of person he's interested in, what does that say about him? What if he can do the same exact thing to Lara's feelings that Sam once did? No, she just can't put herself out there like that.

โฑโฑโฑ The fact that Lara has to date Bash to keep his magic under her control? Well, that's obviously not something anyone can know. So Sebastian has to think she really cares about him. And that puts a little damper on the regular hook-up Polaris and Xavier have become accustomed to. She can get away with it when she's just in the secret "talking" stage with Seb, but Xavier won't be the other man when they're actually dating. And Polaris trying once anyway is going to put a bad taste in his mouth.

    โฑโฑโฑ Sure, when he rejects her, she'll apologize profusely. Chalk it up to "old habits" that got away with her when she was drunk. But that doesn't make Xavier any less exasperated. { Because, let's face it, he's also a little bit bitter that he spent months trying to get her to open up to no avail. But in just a few weeks, she's apparently official with someone else? }

โฑโฑโฑ And the poor boy is only human. Once he knows what else is out there, he'll be shaken to his core. Polaris has the advantage of, well, being magical but also knowing about it her entire life. Xavier will try to shield her from the truths he just learned. Maybe even try to save her life one time when it appears to be in danger. But Lara will have to be the one to step up and keep his human ass from getting murdered. Explaining her connection to it all won't be so pretty.

โฑโฑโฑ The Sam thing . . . it's gonna burn. A lot. Especially once Sam leaves Polaris out to dry again. Maybe Polaris will be able to be happy for them in the beginning. She certainly knows she can't offer Xavier anything stable or happy. And he's a good guy! Should she keep messing with him when he could have something better? No. But does it have to be with Sam? * vomit emoji * Polaris might have some character growth, though probably not enough to wish someone like Sam eternal happiness. So we can't exactly be surprised if Polaris isn't ringing the wedding bells in their favor ;)

โฑโฑโฑ The Xenakis founding family is the one that Polaris feels she has the least direct connection with. There are no kids around her own age, so there is not a lot at stake for her in getting to know them. They're like distant shadowy figures. Eugene is great because he often gives underage drinking warnings instead of tickets if you act polite when he catches you. Malva can be a general stick in the mud, though Lara knows to respect her. And that typically amounts to respectfully keeping her distance. But not much has ever made her pay the Xenakis clan much attention . . . until now.

๐๐„๐‘๐‚๐„๐๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Nothing is cuter than Zephyr Xenakis! Polaris is so glad this little angel moved into town. Although a bit quirky, she says the most hilarious things. Maybe she even has it in her to be queen bee someday. Sure, she's a bit naive, but there's nothing that can't be fixed with a little bit of guidance from Lara. Every time she thinks about Zephyr, she can't help that warm feeling budding in her chest. It is almost like her brain is programmed to be happy when the little newbie crosses her mind. Funny, isn't it? Well, she must simply be that wonderful!

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Zephyr must greatly admire Polaris, for the way she is taking to popping up in many of the places Lara frequents. She probably wants helps getting to know town and other students. What could be better, than befriending the most friendly girl in Mystic Falls? Maybe Zephyr even finds her interesting, and Lara can't help but be flattered by the completely innocent attention.

โฑโฑโฑ Enter stage left . . . a hapless, deadly creature sets her sights on a torture device made flesh. Neither is quite aware of the other's abilities just yet, but there is a strange something going on.

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris will spend the better part of her time convincing herself that Zephyr is little more than a quirky young girl who, while interesting, certainly needs her help. She needs Polaris to guide her and teach her the ways of the teenage world! While part of that may be true in the sense that Zephyr doesn't really know how to be a normal teen, that's not exactly what is going to happen.

โฑโฑโฑ There's hunger. A lot of it. Some days start to feel foggy and out of place. Polaris blames the grief over losing her friend. She finds more and more solace in Zephyr which, she doesn't realize, only makes some of that fogginess worse.

โฑโฑโฑ Then we also get to play with the MADNESS that is Polaris being in possession of magic sometimes, aka getting to resist compulsion. That smells like hilarious drama to me!

โฑโฑโฑ I would imagine Zephyr doesn't like sharing, and Polaris is a social butterfly. Pieces of her belong to everyone on her "side" of the war. That's part of her charm. Kali is probably the first recipient of Zephyr's attacks. The little girl is like a thorn in her side and occupies a rather strategic position of "always there next to Polaris" which Zephyr probably wants for herself. So I wouldn't be shocked if there's a little campaign to rid herself of Kali, whether figuratively or literally. Though . . . hate to spoil it for you but I feel like I must haha . . . as Polaris will have already lost her close friend Rowan on Halloween, I think Zephyr might be in a bit of a bind. Because taking two friends away might ruin some parts of Polaris that make her so tantalizing to begin with. So what is she to do? Perhaps she can try to compel Kali to do something, whilst Solina does the opposite. And an Original's compulsion will obviously overrule a regular vamp. But that doesn't mean she has to stop tormenting the poor girl.

โฑโฑโฑ I feel like we talked about them finding out what the other is some time, but now I've completely forgotten??? Do you remember how Zephyr discovers that Polaris is a siphoner? Or do you have any ideas on this front?

โฑโฑโฑ Because, of course, we will eventually descend into Zephyr's little "plot" to try and make Polaris sired to her. That will require some planning before she turns her as well since it is known to be rather rare for vampires. The theories are that it is connected to love. If someone genuinely loves a vampire and then that vampire turns them, they might become sired. So I would imagine there is some big grand wooing in store for Polaris, which I think will be incredibly overwhelming and flattering and also confusing hahaha.

โฑโฑโฑ I think we established that she basically becomes a pawn that Zephyr and Solina throw around. Zephyr feigns to love and care about Polaris. Solina is more like . . . she is frustrated by her but craves her life being interesting, and somehow, that frustration with Polaris makes it interesting. So she keeps coming back for more. The two vamps probably have feelings for one another, but centuries of drama and betrayal and not being able to trust one another are obviously getting in the way. So Polaris ends up being pulled in two directions, can't tell her left from right, has different / convoluted feelings for each of them . . .

โฑโฑโฑ And yet, at the same time, I think her purest / most real feelings will be for Sebastian, who she already used, cheated on, and discarded as well lmfao. { The hypocrisy is beautiful. } So I think amongst all of this she might still be pining for the man who rightfully left her because she was horrible to him. Yet now that he's gone she realizes how badly she fucked that up. I don't know if Seb will be giving her another chance lol. But I think she might be able to cause a lot of problems by trying to get him to save her from the way she's "drowning" in these two, only to create even more problems for everyone involved hehe.

โฑโฑโฑ We will also have to decide if Zephyr's attempts to sire her actually work for when she's eventually Turned.

โฑโฑโฑ And in the end, gets discarded and maybe even a bit angry at both of them for using her and treating her like shit for so long. Maybe even something we can play on for a bit where she torments them for a change. Like could she be angry enough with Zephyr to try and track down some monsters from her past? Aka . . . you know who?

โฑโฑโฑ I feel like a lot of these points are a "we might have to see where the story takes us before deciding" type thing. But I just wanted to write down a little bit of where my head is at and what I was super generally picturing? But I'd love to hear the same from you, even if it conflicts with what I said. Especially bc I'm not 100% sure where this is heading and what you picture for Zephyr individually and as a throuple. So let me know ~

โฑโฑโฑ In many ways, Polaris is jealous of what the Juarez parents have attained in just a matter of years. Their position of wealth and power has shaken the founding families to their core. Even though they are helping Marco Leander, what they represent goes far beyond that. She is glad that the children saw things for how they are as well. Rather than feel like their loyalty was forced into servitude to an outdated elite, they have rightfully chosen the right side of queen bee history. The Juarezes and Emanis can make powerful allies when it comes to taking down antiquated structures.

Polaris doesn't generally trust outsiders, but the Juarezes have disrupted the natural order of Mystic Falls in the best way. Polaris can't help but appreciate Izaro, too. Lara knows she can't push the new-ish girl too far. They're both alphas, though in different ways. Izaro's leash has been a bit longer than others. And her fall from grace . . . well, it couldn't come at a better time. There is no such thing as a social pariah if Lara has a say in it, so Izaro should count herself lucky to be saved from such a disgrace.

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Izaro clearly doesn't understand the traditions ingrained in Mystic Falls. In many ways, that's a good thing. But Lara also knew that it meant she didn't really care or think about the queen bee feud very much. Why would it matter? She just hasn't been around to see why it does. But Polaris is clearly the lesser evil. The two have even had some fun memories at parties and such through the years. Sure, Izaro is wrapped up in her own problems a lot these days, but she's always been a sucker for attention. Polaris is nothing if not good at giving it away . . . though for a price.

    ๐‚๐Ž๐๐๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐๐’ โ€ขโ€ข Mystic Falls High School students, Team Polaris, Timberwolves athletes, Cheerleading { ??? }, Miss Mystic Falls pageant competitors { ??? }

โฑโฑโฑ So I've been a little bit curious how Izaro's new update impacts other things. Does that mean her friend still disappeared as a freshmen? Or did it just happen? Like was she over eighteen, making it really not a disappearance of a child but rather a young adult going off on their own? Not to say that doesn't cancel out the very obvious and spooky supernatural tie I'm sure you have up your sleeve haha. Excited to see what evil occurred there. But I was not sure if Ellie would've gone missing at another point or still only during the coma. Meaning, instead of it being three years ago now, it was only a few months.

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris wouldn't have really known Ellie if she left their freshmen year. It would just be one of those "girls in another grade" things, I think. But if she left last year, then they would've had two years at school together! So then Lara would also be a bit sadder about her disappearance as well. Even if she is just a classic teenager going out on her own in the world, it's a bummer that she isn't texting any of her old friends. { If she were still on the cheer team, I think Polaris would at least consider her to be sort of friends. } Or updating her insta at all.

โฑโฑโฑ Same question goes for cheerleading. Would both Izaro and Ellie have been on the squad the last few years? With Izaro still being on it at the start of last year, and only stopping after the accident? I'm guessing she's not coordinated enough to want to come back this year. But I know Polaris will at least be really nice about it due to the history there. And she can offer to have her on the team if she wants to be involved in the camaraderie, even though she won't be performing anymore.

โฑโฑโฑ I know Izaro is Miss Fuck Vampires right now, and although Polaris doesn't currently do so, she's literally about to be hanging around Zephyr and Solina all the time. So. I can imagine that if Izaro finds out about the company she keeps, she won't be so Team Polaris anymore hahaha. Not sure if you'd like her to find any of that out, but lmk.

โฑโฑโฑ I think there's not a lot of drama for these two in the beginning, but I would definitely love to play games of cat and mouse once Polaris is Turned. If they're not trying to murder each other, what's the point hehe.

โฑโฑโฑ I had a random girl win the previous Miss Mystic Falls. That would've been the first year that Polaris competed. She wouldn't have bothered as a freshmen haha. I am guessing that 2020's competition { they're in March } wouldn't have been good for Izaro either, so they wouldn't have gone up against each other. But since was popular and well-liked, is that something she would've done two years ago, during her junior year?

โฑโฑโฑ Do you think Izaro has ever won school dance royalty?

โฑโฑโฑ Is she still a social pariah?? Like . . . I'm just trying to understand the timeline of how that happened haha. Did you specifically write what month it was that she woke up anywhere? I know you know that I read your info, but it's also been a little while. And frankly, my memory is not good enough to remember something that specific haha. I can't find it now when I just glance around. So. What I mean to say is, with this small change, I wasn't entirely sure if it still made sense for her to be hosting this party for the 30th. But I also suppose if she's at least been back since . . . March . . . it can make sense????? Because?????? Um let me think. Because the rest of the spring semester was a little rough, with all those nasty rumors as you said. But then, at the very end of the school year and over summer, Polaris made a point to be nice and include her again. Meaning part of this little event is also her trying to overcompensate a little. Her grade graduated in May. She didn't. And it doesn't feel like she is a part of this new class at all. { Versus if she repeated freshmen year, she would've spent more time being a part of this grade since they would've spent two more years in classes together aka she wouldโ€™ve had more time with them than the people her own age. } So . . . she's throwing the party to try and show she still knows how to connect with her peers? Or should we alter the event? lol

โฑโฑโฑ I wouldn't mind if Polaris puts on a brave face about it but is lowkey a bit scared of Bernard haha. I just don't think she has a lot of experience around animals, especially intimidating ones like him. So she'll definitely still smile and be nice and shit but will absolutely hope that she never has to pet him or even get too close.

โฑโฑโฑ Also your blog says Miguel is 19 like Izaro but he is seventeen just so you know! Meaning he's in Lara's grade! If you want to plan some drama between them, I wouldn't mind at all! Could be fun actually haha.

โฑโฑโฑ Truthfully, Polaris doesn't think much of the Chambers family. Ryan and Nathan blend into the background a bit more. But she does appreciate that a little, especially as things have been growing out of control for her more lately. They represent a kind of simplicity โ€” an average life. In it's own way, that's a beautiful thing. Polaris has always craved and demanded more than that, but in the process, she has forgotten how to appreciate the mundane. The calm. The humanity of things. Perhaps it would be good for her to be closer to the Chambers boys. They could ground her to that last part of herself . . . if it still exists.

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris considers her hair to be her best attribute, and it means a lot to trust someone else to take care of it. Luisa is the only person allowed this "honor." Haircuts with her are some of Lara's favorite relaxing moments. It's an opportunity to truly breathe and have a fun conversation without any pressure or care in the world. For once, she doesn't have to be "on." She's not a queen bee. She's just Polaris. There was a time when Lara had a bit of a crush on Gabriel. Maybe that's why she was so willing for him to be her first kiss at a party all those years ago. But he clearly doesn't think of her that way. They've hardly talked in high school, with him always being consumed by his homework and projects. His dedication to his academics is charming, but it also makes him clearly on Ysabela's side, even though he doesn't seem to realize it himself. "There's a feud going on?" Gabriel might say, as the school catches fire around him. He is one of the few that had his allegiance decided for him, thanks to the rumor mill. After all, he's had a lot of advanced classes with Ysabela, and she doesn't make the worst presentation partner. A part of Polaris would like to draw a sweet, innocent boy back onto her side, but she also knows that Gabriel couldn't handle being in the middle of anything. Poor thing already seems to be fraying at the edges under all the stress of . . . well, it must be college applications or something else academic. But why is Lara getting certain magical hums from his direction, time to time? Perhaps it's just a coincidence.

โฑโฑโฑ Because psychics are a branch of witches, Polaris can sense that . . . something magical is going on here. But it doesn't make much sense to her. Especially because none of the Takahashi adults hum with energy. Part of why she snuggled up to Rowan was to understand it more. She recently learned of the girl's gift and tries to use it to her advantage by treating it as though Rowan and she have a telepathic connection. How else is Rowan such a good minion who seems to read Lara's mind? She literally can when she focuses hard enough. But Lara isn't aware of the "competition" at hand with Alice. That is a complicated layer of history that Rowan hasn't wanted to get into. Overall, Lara wants to regard the family favorably; her connection with Rowan is invaluable. Their gifts are something she can use to her advantage. But Alice and Rowan chose very different paths socially. Although the two of them are able to remain close, they are divided between the school's feud because of their varied interests. Polaris still can't believe that Alice didn't follow Rowan's route and side with her. It is . . . quite difficult to keep that fact that Polaris knows of their psychic abilities a secret from Alice, considering she can also read one's mind. But Rowan assures her that so long as she isn't actively thinking about hiding it from her, she won't notice otherwise.

Rowan was like a pretty new toy when she arrived back in 2010, but Polaris didn't truly see a use for her until high school. Psychics are a type of witch, after all, but Rowan hums with magic so softly. Lara didn't even notice it until they were fifteen. However, she has become essential these days. Sharing in the truth of each other's gifts has given them quite the connection. Rowan is like the calm center of the group. She has her head on a little bit more securely than the others, and she grounds Polaris a bit. Sometimes, it makes her a killjoy. But Lara knows deep-down that she's probably right.

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Rowan knows that she and Polaris are two very different people but with one very similar goal. They don't like people and institutions that tell them, "This is the way things are." So, at first, what made them merely not-enemies has blossomed into an actual friendship. They do tend to fight a bit more than anyone else in the group, but Rowan likes to see it as them simply keeping the other on track. No one likes to be called out on their bullshit. That doesn't mean the other should stop doing so.

    โฑโฑโฑ Aka Goldie.

โฑโฑโฑ Rowan actually concentrates on making sure she doesn't read people's auras. Her own powers terrify her. Even though she does occasionally use them for some one-sided telepathic communication with Polaris, Rowan rarely channels them outside of that. She doesn't even care how much Alice goes on about Lara's scary aura. She knows her friend well enough! She doesn't need to use this freaky magic to know what she's like, and she isn't going to listen to what Alice says on the topic.

โฑโฑโฑ Everything that needs to be known for Rowan can actually be found in the Diane spoiler! And then a little bit in the Alice spoiler, but hopefully only eventide reads that so the rest of you can be surprised haha. I decided to not repeat or expand on the info since Rowan isn't someone's main character.

Polaris is wary of Alice. How is she supposed to hide the fact that Rowan told her they can both read minds . . . when Alice is a fucking mind reader? If it weren't a betrayal to be on Team Ysabela, Polaris would almost be relieved. Sure, Alice isn't the worst and knows how to enrapture a crowd. But she's dangerous in a way that can't be controlled or trusted. Lara still goes to the many artistic performances at Mystic Falls because she enjoyed them in general. Yet there's no denying that it's hard to keep her brave face on when she's around Alice. The key has been to never be alone with her. If they're in groups, Alice probably won't focus on Lara, right?

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Polaris is the underminer of Ysabela, who Alice generally prefers. It is unfortunate that Rowan got sucked up into her business. Can't she see how absolutely wack Lara's aura is? They had a tolerable time together that year Lara was also in choir; at least her voice isn't the worse. There was no open hostility. However, Alice sees Polaris as a bit vapid. Plus, Alice knows at least part of the truth behind her bubbly persona. Auras can't lie.

๐‚๐Ž๐๐๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐๐’ โ€ขโ€ข Mystic Falls High School students, Choir

โฑโฑโฑ On reputation alone, Alice might be on Team Polaris. However, her psychic abilities have her see past Lara's cool-girl front and Ysabela's ice-cold one. She knows that Lara has a churning darkness beneath the surface, whereas Ysabela is not nearly so heartless as her reputation makes her seem. So there's no way she would be foolish enough to fall for Lara's ruse and be on her side. At the very least, Alice knows that Rowan has a good relationship with her. Even though she won't trust or like Lara, she as to accept that they are somewhat in each other's lives.

โฑโฑโฑ Rowan doesn't like to use her gift, so she doesn't bother reading Lara's aura. It doesn't matter how many times Alice insists; Rowan doesn't want to look. She knows her friend isn't perfect. Rowan and Polaris get into little tiffs all the time. But truly dark? Alice is just being dramatic.

โฑโฑโฑ I'd like to keep our same drama for Rowan + the full moon + the school dance, but move it back to the Decade Dance? Homecoming won't be on a full moon anymore, but December 18 has one. So it's perfect for a Decade Dance! Then it's basically the same thing with more time to build up to it?

โฑโฑโฑ So things are . . . tense but tolerable, until the Decade Dance happens. The police say it was drunk driving. This kind of reasoning is going to be so conflicting. Alice will probably experience a lot of terrible emotions on top of her grief. The first being denial. That doesn't sound like her at all! Then again, she saw Rowan drunk that evening; she knows she should never have been behind the wheel. If she was the one driving, who let her do that? Is this kind of their fault?

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris and Diane are clearly a mess over it all, and something huge is going on between the girls that used to be Rowan's best friends. But frankly, Alice doesn't want to deal with their bullshit. She just lost her favorite person. She has herself to focus on.

โฑโฑโฑ But Rowan isn't lost! She's on The Other Side. And everything with the comet means her connection to Alice is stronger than ever. Can Rowan reach out to Alice? Can she . . . come back to life, even if it's only through controlling someone else's mind?

โฑโฑโฑ And after what actually happened to her that fateful night . . . Rowan certainly doesn't consider Diane and Polaris to be her friends anymore.

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris has been forced to cozy up with the Warricks her entire life. Her mother is one of the very few in their old coven, and even though Polaris has never been invited to the actual meetings and rituals, she knows the Emanis are important. They are the only remaining family from the first Warrick-led group. All the other families have had to be replaced throughout the generations, for one reason or another. And instead of having thirteen devoted parties these days, the Warricks have had to settle for five. Tamara is clearly not happy about the prospects of her family's ancient glory disappearing before her very eyes. Polaris has never liked Tammy, but that distaste is only a fraction compared to the loathing that Tammy hides for Lara in return. A part of her wished she could've ritually sacrificed the siphoner the moment they found out. She knows Polaris poses a threat. Tamara considered teaching Lara magic herself so she could see what the girl was truly capable of. But that could position Polaris too close to her own children. What if her perversion messed up the learning process for Charlotte and Sebastian? So she let Vega train her on her own, and she hoped that Polaris would never grow to truly be a gifted witch. Tamara said nothing of Polaris either way. If everyone wanted to assume the girl had no magic because of this, so be it. As the years have gone by, Lara's simple unease in Tammy's presence grew tenfold. Every time she is around the church, her body begins to ache. There's too much magic. Something is wrong. Even Sebastian seems to pulse with some new type of evil. It is discomforting and jarring. And the idea that Polaris will one day have to serve any of them โ€” whether that be simply as a member of Tamara's coven or in true servitude to Sebastian or Charlotte โ€” brews a fit of unholy anger. The Warrick name holds power over Polaris, and there is no telling how far she may go to destroy that.

Polaris wishes there were more of a distance between these two. But his very existence is torment to her. She will not be in service to anyone, let alone a pathetic loser like him. There's probably more magic in his ridiculous D&D game than in anything he actually does. Thankfully, Polaris has been able to keep a close enough eye on the Warricks through Charlotte alone. She hasn't needed to rekindle that youthful connection with Ba โ€” Seb. Until . . . fuck, why is this actual fool practically screaming at her with power all of a sudden?

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Okay, fine. Seb has eyes. Yes, Polaris is beautiful. And, sure, he'd pick her side when push comes to shove. But she's a far cry from the little girl he used to know. Perhaps he should be glad that there was another failed witch, considering he's never seen her do magic either. Maybe that's why Vega acts just as disappointed as Tamara at the mention of her daughter. At least Lara knows how to enrapture a room. Not that he notices her doing that all the time or anything.

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris hates Sebastian. It's that simple. Okay, no, it's not. But she hates every idea about him. Tamara and her children are the reason Polaris is cursed. It's why she has had to pretend to be a regular witch to some and human to others. It's why she has felt like she is confined by a destiny to be at someone else's disposal. It's despicable. It's ruined her. And all of the arrows point back to Bash. He is the supposed gifted Warrick that will do great things. He is the origin of all Lara's misery. So she doesn't hate him. He's a bit dull but not worth loathing. The idea of him, however, is truly the worst thing to happen to her. And that terrible origin defines everything.

โฑโฑโฑ Yes, Sebastian has always hummed with the magic of witches. However, this was never any more than usual, and Polaris knows from her mother that Bash is always in possession of little talismans and such. She never worried about it. Polaris has enjoyed keeping Charlotte close, just in case. She can be used to keep an eye on Sebastian and the Coven without having to, you know, waste Lara's time hanging out with a loser like Bash.

โฑโฑโฑ Sure, they were little playmates as kids. But Polaris largely preferred Charlotte and tended to leave Sebastian in the dust. If he tried to look over her shoulder to see her Nintendogs game on her baby pink DS, she shifted away to block the screen. The dismissive attitude has always been there.

โฑโฑโฑ Not that she'd let him know about it, but Polaris is probably the only person who cares about Bash's progression with magic as much as Tamara. She regularly harasses Vega into giving her updates about what's going on with his training. It's quite odd, being open with both Charlotte and Bash about the existence of magic while shielding her own. She has not . . . actively kept it from Seb. Charlotte and Lara talk about her being a regular witch from time to time. It's more like Bash has never seen Polaris do magic. { She rarely can these days, given how little she siphons. } And he figures if she were magical, she'd have been forced to do at least some lessons with him. So he just conveniently doesn't know.

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris wasn't able to believe it at first: the way his magic radiated off him so strongly without warning. She noticed once when she was over at the house hanging out with Charlotte. That might be why she very secretly started to snap chat him . . . and text him . . . and find excuses to talk to him. Sure, he thinks it was his own idea to ask Polaris out, but who is he kidding? That was all Lara convincing him. She figured they'd just go on three casual dates, she'd find some answers, get rid of the problem, and then she could go back to ignoring him. Charlotte would never have to know.

โฑโฑโฑ In fact, when Polaris whirled away to Europe with her mother, she figured all her Sebastian problems would resolve themselves. There was no way he'd still be a ticking magical timebomb when she came back! So, yikes, maybe she ignored him a little bit more than she should've, considering all the flirting she'd done in person. But wasn't this a cleaner break?

โฑโฑโฑ Well, it should've been, but now that she's back . . . Sebastian is even worse than before. Polaris can hardly keep her head straight with all the magic rolling off him. And this makes everything much more complicated. Because her dismissal of him was a bit too rough. He's not going to buy her casual interest anymore. And she can't keep it from Charlotte if they're going to keep hanging out. Fuuuucccckkkkkk. Polaris might have to apologize for "being distracted" while she was away. She might have to make it up to him. She might have to . . . actually date him.

โฑโฑโฑ She might still hook up with Xavier while they're still just seeing each other. And she might even hit on Xavier after their official . . . old habits, hmmm? But he'll turn down her advances. So, I mean, Polaris didn't technically cheat, right? She just hopes Maia and Ysabela don't find out. Oh, and maybe Bash. That might hurt his feelings. Yeah, better keep that a secret from him too.

โฑโฑโฑ That's where it gets even more complicated. Because Zephyr and Solina make Polaris the little mouse caught between two very vicious predators. And Lara is just using Bash to control him and keep his magic in check. There are probably plenty of terrible things she'll do behind his back. And when he finds out, he'll leave her.

โฑโฑโฑ But it won't be that easy. Maybe he hates her, but his magic is getting out of control. There's nothing he can do . . . except get it siphoned. Polaris doesn't want to help him. Not after he dumped her. But isn't this also helping herself? Well, yes and no. Because she hates having magic. However, she'd rather have it than allow him to use it to control her. So she doesn't have a chose, and neither does he. They don't want anything to do with each other, but they're still constantly together. She's taking her fill of it every day. That also means vampires can't compel her anymore. She's figuring out what they're doing to her. And she's drowning.

โฑโฑโฑ So is he. Because too much is going on for him to hide being his powerless mask anymore. He was broken and battered and spat out by Polaris. The world is closing in. The foundation of his family is cracking under his feet. He has no one left.

โฑโฑโฑ I think even if they've broken up by Miss Mystic Falls { who knows the timeline? not us. } that he should still escort her lmfao. Like she will probably threaten him into doing it once she realizes she has alienated and destroyed her other options haha.

โฑโฑโฑ I realize this is a terrible and confusing order, but I do think there should be a weird little ripple effect when their relationship status goes public. Like Bash is definitely gonna get a few stares of "respect, bro" and some people will maybe think Polaris is pregnant bc why tf else would she be with a nobody lol. Idk! But a few days of "?????" especially from poor Charlotte hahaha.

    โฑโฑโฑ Redoing his wardrobe

โฑโฑโฑ Begging him to post better pics on Insta and also take better pics of her bc dude wtf

โฑโฑโฑ Making out at a party in front of people which Bash will hate haha

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris dragging him to all the town events he has spent his life hating

โฑโฑโฑ Quiet, cute moments that Lara will pretend were all an act bc she's evil and she loves that about herself so it can't be true

โฑโฑโฑ Healthy relationships <<<<<<<< Polaris only realizing she loves Bash once she's supremely ruined everything and he hates her

โฑโฑโฑ Who knows how they go on an evil rampage but WE ALL KNOW IT'S GONNA HAPPEN

โฑโฑโฑ I feel like there's so much more but hopefully this is enough to get us started hehe

๐๐„๐‘๐‚๐„๐๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Like Sebastian, the Warrick-Duponts have been quite a permanent fixture in Lara's life. And Charlotte is clearly the lesser of two evils. They talk openly about magic; Polaris doesn't mind that Charlie thinks she's a regular witch. In fact, the two seem to have quite a number of inside jokes no one else can really follow. Lara especially enjoys Charlotte's secret nasty streak. She makes for a formidable posse member in that sense.

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข As someone who teeters the line between cool and awkward, it is good to have Polaris around the pull her all the way up to the top of the social ladder. Nowadays, people view her few oddities as cute quirks, not as something more negative. She maybe knows that Lara pushes her around a bit too much . . . but she also likes what they stand for. It's fun to be out there ruffling feathers against "the way things are meant to be." It almost feels like it's natural for Charlotte to be messing with fate like this. And who doesn't love poking fun of Ysabela and her cronies?

โฑโฑโฑ Okay so as I kind of outlined to you before, this is how I picture the general dynamic of the friend group.

โฑโฑโฑ There's Polaris, the queen obvi. Nicknamed Honey Bee. She's dynamic, super outgoing, knows everyone, listens well, asks about little things you said, makes you clothes, and is generally a Very Big personality. She's also a bit demanding. Although she feigns being ditzy and silly, I think these four that are close to her especially know that's not really that true. She has high expectations and demands loyalty above all else.

โฑโฑโฑ Then there's Kali . . . who I can literally not stop calling my chihuahua lmfao. Nickname Bunny Boo. I don't think anyone else likes her as much as Lara does. But as she's so young and so enamored with Polaris, there's definitely a bit of a pity thing going on. Plus she is quite useful when you need a helping hand. She would help you bury a body, no questions asked.

โฑโฑโฑ Rowan, our Goldie, is hmmm. A bit of the Caroline? But that's a tough thing to say when being the center of attention is so her in high school so I'm going to retract that. Rowan is like the Spencer from PLL because she's the only one with her shit together. And that's why we must murder her. I also think Polaris and Rowan have big personalities that lead them to butt heads a lot.

โฑโฑโฑ Diane is our golden gal. And we call her Cherry Pie! Or just Cherry. Lowkey the token Founding Family gal . . . but let's not discuss that hehe. She's mysterious and cool so of course they're all friends. V tight with Rowan. Bit of the "who's that girl" type because she is on the elusive side to the general public. Competitive without having a sore loser mentality. But also protective, which Polaris cherishes.

โฑโฑโฑ Charlotte, nicknamed Angel! I think she's the funny one of the group. She wants to open a Depop with Polaris. { This is our most important plot. } She's someone that Lara has interacted with for her entire life. She honestly can't remember a time when Charlotte wasn't there. Sure, they weren't the tightest in middle school, but now things are better than ever. Charlotte is like the little devil on the group's shoulder because, despite being soft-spoken, she has some wicked ideas in there. And all the girls want to hear them.

โฑโฑโฑ So yeah they've literally been around each other since infancy, and we all know it. Probably fell out of touch after elementary because I feel like in middle school, people tend to normally only hang out with their own grade. But a few years more distanced meant little once getting back into high school.

โฑโฑโฑ I don't want Polaris to be good at singing, just like baseline tolerable. And more like in choir for college apps being rounded out lol. But I still think having that extracurricular for Lara's arrival year would've also helped in becoming friends again!

โฑโฑโฑ Okay, let's face it . . . I think Charlotte x Polaris "accidentally" encourage some shenanigans with each other! I don't want to see like how you and me irl do but it's true haha. Like I just think they should have that dynamic where, sure, Charlotte wouldn't do something that crazy normally . . . but then she looks at Polaris. Polaris looks at her. And that wicked smile hits both of them. And then it's too late. The crazy thing has been done.

โฑโฑโฑ I am also so excited for Charlotte to carry some animosity over Polaris dating her brother. Should I go through with that initial idea of Polaris professing her "true love" for him in hopes that Charlie at least thinks her intentions are honorable? That's such a lowkey mean thing that I can see Polaris doing because, pfft, would Charlie really want to stand in the way of something so pure and sweet? Even if Charlie doesn't feel that way, I'm still leaning towards Polaris using that for her explanation haha

โฑโฑโฑ Look, I don't exactly have ideas on how you should suck Polaris into your drama, but since I'm obsessed with your ideas . . . please know that I want Lara to be along for the ride on some ride or die shit lol. What's a good doppie if they're not getting constantly kidnapped, used as blackmail, bait, etc? I see many rescuing days in Lara's future.

โฑโฑโฑ Idk when she's a vamp but how is Charlotte gonna react to that? Is it gonna ruin their friendship? Maybe you don't know how to answer that yet, which nbd. Just curious haha.

โฑโฑโฑ If Charlotte is not gonna kiss any of the incredibly sexy and terrifying women that will be in her paths, I volunteer Polaris as tribute. She is a slut. In a good way.

โฑโฑโฑ But also I feel like we should discuss what the death of Rowan will do on their early dynamic as well. Obviously Charlotte knows about Lara's connection with magic and vice versa. { Well, no one knows about ye olde doppelganger but you feel me bb. } So I do think Polaris would run to her about Diane being a werewolf and murdering their other bff. Is there some sad sulking in their futures? Idk I feel like there is a plot here but since this idea focused so much on Diane in my head I am not 100% solid on the Charlie x Polaris dynamic for this particular instance.

    โฑโฑโฑ When Polaris eventually shatters Bash's heart in a million pieces . . . I think we should go in the extreme directions only. Like she either is super super fucking pissed at Lara or she's like yeah you know what you should've never fucking dated her in the first place you idiot!!! Bash, you let your penis think for you and honestly what the fuck were you expecting, dating my friend!! And she loves Polaris enough to only be salty for a few days because Lara has also tried to spin a little story to make it seem like Bash's fault { because I love adding insult to injury }

โฑโฑโฑ Though Polaris knows the Annenberg parents to be a bit on the useless side, she once thought she had her greatest ally in Sam. They had so much in common as children, and it seemed to be growing more and more with age. They were set to take on the world together. Like many others, Lara idolized Noah. She learned a lot from the older girl. But now, Sam is a completely different person than the best friend Polaris once knew. She shuns their past and clearly uses Lara for social leverage. If Sam weren't so key to the social sphere, Polaris or Ysabela would've destroyed her months ago. But she stands between them, hanging on by a thread . . . and Polaris hates the whole family for it, even if her kind eyes never falter in public.

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Polaris is a bit of a drama queen for someone who was never a good friend in the first place. โฑโฑโฑ Look, as tempting as it would be to say something supernatural made Sam dislike Polaris the summer before freshmen year, I think I genuinely want it to be 100% human. Like she just realized she didn't want to put up with Lara anymore lol. In fact, the deeper Polaris dives into this world, the more she will desperately wish that there was a magical explanation. Because that would hurt less than Sam getting to know her, not liking what she saw, and walking away. But . . . that's not the case.

โฑโฑโฑ All kinds of drama regarding the balancing act with Ysabela that needs to be sorted out and used from time to time.

โฑโฑโฑ I'd like to have some more torment and drama where Polaris actually bears her soul to Sam for one last shot at being close . . . only to have it ripped to pieces in front of her. RIP!

โฑโฑโฑ Kali is a little lost cub that Polaris took under her wing . . . and turned into her secret weapon. Tobias is an insubordinate fool who is, surely, only temporarily confused by which side of the feud she is on. As for their parents, Polaris has never given any thought to them. She doesn't much care about their parents โ€” the slightly eccentric and passionately in-love duo that still shares kisses when they go grocery shopping together like they're seventeen. She definitely considers this lot to be fairly average without any skeletons in their closet. Tobias is just edgy; he wishes he had something interesting to hide. The Mooney parents certainly are as honest and wholesome as it gets. But she couldn't be more wrong about that.

Sure, others might find her a bit annoying, but Polaris knows how to get that in check with time.

โฑโฑโฑ I know this is a lot, but Kali . . . I can literally not stop calling her the chihuahua lmfao. Bite is much bigger than her bark, but she puts up a very good front. I don't think anyone else likes her as much as Lara does. But as she's so young and so enamored with Polaris, there's definitely a bit of a pity thing going on. Plus she is quite useful when you need a helping hand. She would help you bury a body, no questions asked.

โฑโฑโฑ She has been dating Adam Hansbridge since they were both twelve. Unfortunately, he swings Team Ysabela. Not to mention her own brother Tobias is also a traitor.

โฑโฑโฑ Kali likes to make up for their failures by being extra loyal, but she does often feel like she's being pulled apart by these dividing forces. Will someone make her choose between them? And, if so, who can truly count on her?

โฑโฑโฑ I'm honestly interested in making her The Matt from TVD in the sense that she's like . . . the very sweet token human who gets her life ruined by supernatural forces and comes out the other side bitter and full of vengeance. Yay ;)

โฑโฑโฑ Polaris likes to know whether someone is with her or against her. Can she rely on them when push comes to shove? Or are they weak? Cowardly? She keeps an eye on people. She likes to understand how everyone feels, what they fear, and what they want. She doesn't want to give anyone the chance to betray her for Ysabela. So, behind that bright charisma, she tends to see anyone in the town more as a means to an end than actual people. What can they do for her? How are they of use to further her agenda? Lara thinks paying attention to them is enough to truly understand them, but that's hardly the case. She too easily dismisses those who can't be manipulated, and she underestimates what people will do for those they truly care about.

Understanding where someone comes from, what their habits are, and how they operate are important parts of her control over them. She doesn't like surprises or unpredictability. Outsiders represent all these things. How does she know what they're truly like? She doesn't. And that's why she tends to keep them at a distance at first. You can never be too safe. Although she will welcome them with the same sunny smile she is known for amongst the locals, her warmth is temporary and fleeting. She can open up eventually, but it takes time.

Polaris won't complain about having eye candy for an English teacher. It is a bit interesting, though, how Chloe seems vaguely familiar. But Lara can't put her finger on it. Regardless of her reservations, she doesn't mind putting on the show for Chloe to seem welcoming and sweet. Any new student is a new chance to get someone on her side, right?

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Chloe falls for Lara's nice persona. I mean, of course she does. Don't they all? And though she finds being in a new town a bit intimidating, she likes the fresh start too. That's why she wants to feel like she truly belongs. Polaris is keeping her at a bit of an arm's length, which is understandable. But maybe there's something Chloe can do to really prove her loyalty.

    ๐‚๐Ž๐๐๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐๐’ โ€ขโ€ข Mystic Falls High School students, Team Polaris, Miss Mystic Falls pageant competitors { ??? }

โฑโฑโฑ Chloe arrives in October. Everyone is probably surprised to have a new student come as a senior, especially because of the drama that the high school just endured. Who would willingly transfer to this mess? So Polaris is immediately intrigued. She does her part of being the warm, welcoming girl. They probably have a fun conversation. Polaris asks if she intends to tryout for the cheerleading team, because why not? Chloe replies a bit rudely . . . which is an immediate offense.

โฑโฑโฑ Of course, something sits in the back of Laraโ€™s mind. The girl is vaguely familiar. As it was only for five to ten minutes in 2019 that they crossed paths, she doesn't put two and two together either way. Polaris can only detect when people are witches, and she can tell when objects have magic. But other creatures donโ€™t โ€œhumโ€ the same way. And vampires, for example, are made from ancient witch magic. So I donโ€™t think she would have any inclination at all that something has happened to Chloe. Even though thereโ€™s a spell on her, it seems like I would be โ€œgodmodingโ€ Polarisโ€™ powers to think she could detect it, since she canโ€™t detect vamps. So, in Laraโ€™s eyes, there is nothing more than human with Chloe.

โฑโฑโฑ Since Chloe is sociable but doesnโ€™t waste her time on people she doesnโ€™t have an instant connection with, she falls for the ruse of Polaris being genuinely sweet and caring. Polaris will court her a bit to get her on her side of the feud. However, as she doesnโ€™t trust newcomers that much and Chloe is only there for one school year, she doesn't try to integrate her fully into her โ€œposse / cliqueโ€ of closest friends. However, she might be willing to make it seem that it is possible at first since it is to her advantage.

โฑโฑโฑ When Chloe notices she seems to be hovering on the fringes of Polarisโ€™ little clique but isnโ€™t truly invited in, she decides she wants to change that fate. The way people treated her at her last school has left its mark on her. Being a part of that friend group could, in Chloeโ€™s mind, be a way to protect herself from ever being tormented again. So she approaches Polaris and is even a bit direct about it. โ€œI can tell you donโ€™t fully trust me, but I want to prove it to you.โ€ Something like that. And Polaris is still very much hurt over something that Ysabela did to her at the beginning of October, right before school started. To get a bit of revenge on Ysa for that act, she accepts Chloeโ€™s proposal to go spy on Ysa. There is, of course, a small price to pay. In the short run, people will think Chloe abandoned Polaris. That is a win for Ysabela that will set back Laraโ€™s own โ€œstandingโ€ in the race. For the long game, however, sheโ€™s willing to take the small loss.

โฑโฑโฑ No, Polaris doesnโ€™t think much will come of it, but if sheโ€™s being honest, this gets her some things she wants. (1) Chloe isnโ€™t hovering around her friend group anymore. She didnโ€™t necessarily want to induct her, just get her to be #TeamPolaris in a general sense. (2) Whatโ€™s the worst that can happen? Maybe Chloe finds something out. Cool. Helpful. But if she doesnโ€™t? Polaris still has her regular plan. So it is a fine-enough alternative.

โฑโฑโฑ As for how Chloe would get her โ€œreportsโ€ to Polaris . . . I mean the easiest way seems to be digital. She can send an email / snapchat / whatever and delete it. Polaris can then read it and move accordingly. Thatโ€™s easy of course but itโ€™s not the most fun plot. Since Polaris often leaves her house at night because of her migraines and Chloe sneaks out, we will have bi- and tri-weekly late-night rendezvous! The girls can bond over their shared insomnia. โ€œSo why are we both capable and willing to be up and doing shit at 3 am?โ€ โ€œBecause I was up anyway.โ€ โ€œFuck, me too.โ€ Blah blah. Then their passing of information can build more of a โ€œfriendship.โ€ That is how Chloe perhaps comes to mention her dreams. Thatโ€™s also when Polaris puts two-and-two together and remembers why Chloe was once vaguely familiar.

โฑโฑโฑ Since Chloe is so loyal, though, we will have to also think of an inciting incident for her to turn on Polaris. It can be either something Polaris does to push her away, something Ysabela does to win her loyalty more, or something Chloe does thatโ€™s just out of character - maybe because of that pesky love she might have for Chloe;) Itโ€™s very very possible that we just need to make this bit up โ€œas we go.โ€ But if you get any ideas in the mean time, I'm all ears.

โฑโฑโฑ As for Polaris siphoning the magic that blocks her memories . . . god this is so mean lmfao . . . Lara will only do it on purpose. And itโ€™s extremely physically painful. So it happens after Chloe betrays Polaris. Then Lara will want her revenge. Sheโ€™ll siphon some magic from something and cloak herself so sheโ€™s invisible. Then in the middle of the night, she will come up behind Chloe undetected. As punishment, she has decided to lift the spell. The suffering will be two-fold: the physical agony of having the magic siphoned. And then the mental agony of remembering the anguish she endured, not to mention the crushing weight of being aware of the supernatural.

โฑโฑโฑ And what she does with that revelation is to be determined;) But Polaris will definitely hate her for quite some time lmfao.

โฑโฑโฑ Theoretically, since Polaris knows of the existence of vampires, she must know that their origin also exists somewhere in this world. But this is something she has never given much thought, and there's no chance she would ever consider something as convoluted, terrifying, and . . . intriguing as The Originals. Perhaps they can instill some healthy fear in Polaris for the first time in her young, insignificant life. Or perhaps her brash attitude will simply make her another one of the nameless bodies in the trail behind them.

๐๐„๐‘๐‚๐„๐๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Is Solina . . . a teen? Should she be in school? Is she some kind of college dropout? Every time Polaris tries to focus on finding something out about her, it feels like she's sent in a disarray. It's obvious she is more than human. But what the fuck is going on?

๐‘๐„๐…๐‹๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ โ€ขโ€ข Polaris is little more than a silly obstacle. Solina has plenty of things to do in this town before she clears out and moves on to the next one. So this little human should leave well enough alone and stay in her silly, vapid world. There's nothing going on in this typical teen's life, and she shouldn't be involved in Sol's.

    ๐‚๐Ž๐๐๐„๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐๐’ โ€ขโ€ข N/A

โฑโฑโฑ So Polaris becomes a bit of a nuisance in the sense that Solina figures out pretty quickly that she can only be compelled sometimes. I would guess she chalks that up to vervain, rather than being a siphoner? That way the mystery of finding out what's going on can last a little longer hehe.

โฑโฑโฑ It is so chaotic to have them make out in the bathroom right after Polaris was crying but I'm going to allow it because I think they are toxic and messy above all else.

โฑโฑโฑ Solina will represent a lot of things to Polaris . . . and the biggest one I want is for her to be part of her path of realizing that being powerful doesn't make you evil. That is been the only way Lara has known how to operate and understand the world around her. Her mother made her feel like she was an abomination. Being truly on top at school required a secret ruthlessness. She feels like doing terrible things is the only way to get what you need. And despite their truly toxic relationship to have together, that's still the lesson I want Lara to walk away with lol.

โฑโฑโฑ Do you have anything in mind for Polaris and Solina discovering each other's abilities / species? It wouldn't surprise me if Lara thinks Solina is just, you know, a regular vamp for a bit. Probably until she sees her mess with Zephyr and then is like wtf is happening how can you do that. Or she sees her get staked in the heart, boo hoo cries for dead Solina, but she then comes back in a few mins like a good ol' powerful original the.

โฑโฑโฑ How will Solina react to the lil "competition" that is Zephyr? How chaotic do you picture that being?

Solina is more like . . . she is frustrated by her but craves her own life being interesting, and somehow, that frustration with Polaris makes it at least a little but interesting.

โฑโฑโฑ There's also, I'm sure, a fuck ton of Varin drama to deal with for when he comes into town. But that seems like a lot of drama to try and settle already hahaha. So we can just keep that fun bit in mind for whenever things get stale.

โฑโฑโฑ And in the end, gets discarded and maybe even a bit angry at both of them for using her and treating her like shit for so long. Maybe even something we can play on for a bit where she torments them for a change. Who knows?

โฑโฑโฑ I feel like a lot of these points are a "we might have to see where the story takes us before deciding" type thing. But I just wanted to write down a little bit of where my head is at and what I was super generally picturing? But I'd love to hear the same from you, even if it conflicts with what I said.
