Private link seems to be visible to others

@thevandyheiress Hello there! I think the problem I described was only temporarily, maybe just seconds. Right now I see "empty" sets with titles or interim titles that are probably private links. When clicking on the title you will not be able to see the set but a spinning circle instead. So I assume that @admin is already working on it. But let's see what the answer of the admin is. Kind regards!

It's happening to me as well and beginning to drive me absolutely crazy. I don't want people to see the sets but I'm honestly so close to just keeping everything in my drafts because if I wanted people to see my sets I would make them public.
-
Indeed, unfortunately it is happening again. Unfinished sets that are safed as private link can be seen by others.

@admin Any response to this? I know you have a plethora of problems to fix right now, but this is a breach of privacy. It doesn't exactly instill confidence in your site...
-
@thevandyheiress your personal photos will still be visible on your ‘items’ page, even if you create a private set using them, even if you delete them from your items later. If you are worried about your privacy, I highly recommend not upload personal photos in the first place.

@jesuisunlapin Well I was hoping that we would eventually be able to have private accounts, like on Instagram, or at least greater control over our privacy settings. But the privacy they have already given us doesn't seem to hold up, so I'm not holding my breath for anything more.

@thevandyheiress we didn’t have private accounts or sets on Polyvore, so I never expected that. Instagram is a totally different outlet. The idea here is to promote creativity while selling products. You can always create private designs or do some image editing on Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Lightroom, Illustrator etc.

Happening to me too, and i'm not happy about it. I come on to find a bunch of likes to sets that are meant to be private... Wth Urstyle?
-
@jesuisunlapin But I don't want that. I just want private sets to be private. I was perfectly happy the way it was. No complaints until they tried to fix something that wasn't broken.

@thevandyheiress I’m just grateful & happy to have found the perfect replacement for Polyvore. They are working hard to accommodate all the demands and fix things. It takes time. Sometimes, when trying to fix something, other glitches will happen. That’s perfectly normal. We just have to be patient and supportive. Cheers!
