🅖🅡🅞🅤🅟 🅘🅓🅔🅐🅢 THE BADLANDS

This actually was a really cool group on Polyvore. Its was inspired by Halsey's album (Badlands).
You were allowed to develop your own character, have a sub-plot line and you were supposed to interact form story lines and relationships, subplots etc with other characters.

I remember my OC was Dallas Rivers (I think that was the name) a military prodigy (general at 18) loyal to the govt and all she has knows all her life is that the rebels in the Badlands are her enemies.
There was another OC (sub plot) DEVIL- The main outlaw who they were never able to capture. He has arsonistic tendencies and is kind of a hero in the outskirts (i.e the scum of the Badlands according to her)

However, all is not as it seems. The govt is filthy rich and so are the high ranking military officers and the people in the Jewel City are well off too. However, outside of the city, people live in ruins with limbs still missing since the WWIII unlike the rich who have grown new limbs thanks to stem cell cloning.

So now Dallas is torn between going back to her life despite knowing all this or to throw away her entire life and everything she knows to join the resistance who insists that the govt has already manipulated everyone's memories about WWIII and the outcome.

I remember some other characters like; deadly street fighters, cocky bartenders, devious gangbangers, sociopathic motel owners, nefarious motorcycle club members etc.

THE TEAM

A group of people from different walks of life who are unhappy with their lifestyles are kidnapped and banded together by a CIA group.
They are recruited to be a part of a team and asked to pull together one huge operation to save a few of their 'employees' held hostage by the Italian Mafia.
They're chosen for certain skills and are trained to the best of their abilities.

There will be some set roles and some open characters too:

1. The Volacano
Planning to take over father's restaurant but actually wants to be professional athlete.
Age: 18-20
Loyal, fearless and resilient but really aggressive and has major anger issues. Kinda scary at times and is a great leader but people get sick of his/her aggressive personality. Actually, secretly is a really sensitive softy. (FC: Up to you)
2. The Brooding General
Part time bartender, studying law at uni
Age: 21-22
She is a cold, dark and intense. Used to be a streetfighter. Born leader, Intimidating bu gets work done. Great orator although she doesn't speak much. Killer knife throwing/ archery/ martial art skills. Has gone through a lot, extremely strong (mentally and physically). (FC: Striking features Eg: Zoe Kravitz, Natalie Dormer, Sara Sampaio , Cara Delevingne ).
3. The Ingenue Genius
Highschool student + earns A LOT from the FBI and other 'legal' groups do to hacking.
Age: 15-16
How can someone so smart be so naive? He/She is an orphan, lives with a guardian who doesn't care. Child genius. Some major hacking got her banned from using the internet conditionally. Hates the ban, going to school and facing bullies, wants to reach is full potential.(FC: Up to you but POC)
4. The Street Ghost
Part time street racer, part time tattoo artist, renowned art forger; worked with the mafia.
Age: 17-20
He is the cliche hot leather jacket and worn down jeans, harley davidson hoarder rebel. Crazy and impulsive af but also very calculating and cunning. He is a forger and has sold multiple 'renowned' art pieces to unsuspecting billionaires. He actually has a sensitive side and is a romantic but it is something but it doesn't show because of his reputation and attitude.(FC: Up to you but make him cute Eg: Stephen James, Diego Barrueco, Jaime Campbell Bower)
5. The Charming Politician
Part time salesman/girl. Wants to get into Ivy League.
Age: 17-19
He/She has got the good looks, perfect laugh and gift of charisma in spades. Not rich but not very poor either. Wants to get into Columbia, v.hardworking. Peacekeeper mostly...but gossips a lot too. Can talk their way out of anything. Liked by everyone and can convince people to do anything. Gossips a lot. (FC: POC Eg: Jordan Fisher, Yara Shaidi, Ananya Pandey, Kartik Aryan)
6. The Rich Rebel
Multi-billion dollar family business heir. Successful street Fighter
Age: 17-20
A Rich, privileged, white, handsome and smart. He has got it all. Shallow lives and never ending parties. Comes off as snobby and crass. Has serious personal issues though and uncaring parents. One of the best street fighters and crazy endurance. They call him 'Massacre'. (FC: White/Half-white Eg: Charles Melton, Joe Collier, Lucky Blue Smith, Francisco Lachowski)
7. The Girl next Door
Age: 17-20
Part time job at an amusement park. Studying something at uni/ still in school
Easy going, friendly, cute, humble and likeable. Your average girl next door. In the cheer team with a cranky ex in the football team. However, she is also resourceful and get dirt on anyone. Easy to trust face so everyone feels like they can tell her anything so they keep confessing. Doesn't gossip but if you cross her, she will hurt you. She is ruthless when it comes to revenge. *(FC: The amiable, cheery face. Eg: Halston Sage, Maia Mitchell, AnnaSophia Robb, Victoria Justice).

inspired by Hadestown the greek gods live in an isolated town sometime between the Old West’s prominence and the Great Depression they're trying to balance their own infighting and disagreements as well as a threat from a new group

characters basically finished but I want to flesh out the plot a bit first

𝒍𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 essentially a killing eve roleplay description: A few months ago, these agents worked for various countries governments until they all began noticing unusual coincidences and patterns. Supposedly random murders from around the world all shared similarities and these were the few who began to research them. A few days after they approached their bosses with the evidence they found they were fired for some insignificant reason and seemingly abandoned by their previous employers. That is, until they had a knock of their door and were introduced to Ms Daniella Monroe, an MI5 agent who was assembly a team to investigate an international serial killer: Machiavelle.
Now they’re all working together in a secret office in the centre of London. It’s not the most glamorous workplace but it’s potentially the most thrilling case in recent history. Especially since Machiavelle is now aware of their presence and is soon going to be paying them a visit.
