Draft improvements?
-
Hello people!
Like most of you i tried the draft option too! However, the draft update might need minor improvements. I created a set and saved it as a draft.Later i created another set and posted it. Now that i got back to my saved draft set, finished it and saved it, it didn't show up on outfits and sets section and on my profile it appears as if it was posted earlier than the other set. Anybody knowing more on this?
P.S: It's not that serious and we surely need other improvements more..why not be perfected though

@sonia-10 I was confused as to where the draft was to be found after saving never quite got that part straight.
-
@sonia-10 Thanks, this is confirming a suspicion I was having after creating (and saving as draft a couple of times) a set that ended up not as last published but somewhere in the third row. I agree that it's a minor thing, but still somewhat annoying.
Looks like save as draft currently creates the set's time-stamp, not the publishing of it.
-
@emcf3548 if you mean when creating,at the top left if you have saved drafts it says open drafts.
-
@myrrael oh thank you too i thought it was a coincidence as well since the site constantly updates!I totally agree!Hope it will be fixed soon
-
@myrrael Well it looks like it is gonna take more time to get us some of the things we were used to since is only been a week since we left Polyvore and it is a lot of requests to consider but I think it will all work out eventually. They r trying at least and I luv this community forum this way if u have issues they can b heard.
-
@sonia-10 Just imagine where your set would be if it has been a draft for a week
-
@emcf3548 The sheer fact there is a save as draft function had me cheering behind my PC
-
@myrrael I was happy to c that also
-
@sonia-10 I lost my last draft tried to publishing it and it rejected and then my draft was gone too
-
@myrrael Haha well i'm glad i found out from before
-
@izzystarsparkle I'm sorry to hear that.I've noticed that saving takes a little time however i never had this problem yet
-
I just created a set saved the draft came out went back n and clicked open draft and finished set because I was still adding items and found out I needed something else and I did not know whether adding while creator was open if it would go into my items so I closed out and finished, saved draft then published set.

You are absolutely right @sonia-10 and @Myrrael, I just posted a set that was in a draft mode since yesterday and in the "outfits & sets" feed it´s way down with yesterday´s sets. It is a small thing but I do hope it will be fixed.
On the other hand, I was able to make and post a set with a lot of layers and items. I can´t tell for sure (since there is no item counter - for the record I don´t need one as long as there is no limit) but with all the shadows and fillers I assume I´m waaaay past 50. So I´m very happy we are not limited (I used to hate the 50 item mark on PV).
And one more little observation, I´ve noticed that posting (more complicated) sets is easier when the site is not as busy, for me it´s in the morning and around noon - I´m on CET – Central European Time. Whenever I try to post at night it takes a while for the set to load.
-
@emcf3548 I think i got a bit confused but if you mean that you found out how it works im glad for it
-
@petri5 Well i never hit the limit of items on a set i think, only on collections but i used drafts a lot especially when i had no imagination. I haven't noticed this yet but i mostly post on mornings
-
@petri5 There is an item counter of sorts. On your published set, if you look in the tab where it shows which items were used in it, it shows how many of them were used. I only discovered that recently.
-
@myrrael mine just shows things used in the set (both on the right side of the set and next to comments) but it doesn´t show for example that I used one shadow in 12 different places in that particular set.
-
@petri5 Aye, true. It only counts each item once.
