    As @Ollie asked, are your versions of Chrome the same?

    • Is one for a tablet and another specifically for a phone?
    • Is one browser updated and the other not?
    • Is one a Chrome App that you open to access UrStyle rather than the actual browser itself?
    • What operating system does your tablet use? Windows? Android?

    I have the same phone you do and can access Chrome directly and log in to UrStyle from there, without ever using the UrStyle App. It's not even on my phone, or my tablet.

    • When using your phone, do you use the App? What about when using your tablet?
    • Are you certain that your phone is using your wifi and not a satellite connection from your provider?

    My phone is not part of my home network. The wifi it uses requires no internet in my home at all, which is pretty much how all cell phones work. Do a double check to be sure your phone is accessing your home network and using it. If you find it is simply picking up a satellite connection, then there's your answer. Two different servers.

    My tablet must be logged in to my home network for it to connect to the internet. If I go to a doctors office, for instance, and want to use my tablet and go online while in the waiting room, I will need to access the Guest Wifi connection that the office (hopefully) provides. My cellphone however, never needs to connect to a Guest (or home) network. It works anywhere because the network transmission and connection comes from local cell towers. I'm willing to bet that this is what's happening with you!

    @funkyjunkygypsy Well you are brilliant! I checked everything that you mentioned and realized that my phone was still pulling from the app that I thought I had deleted long ago. Once I reset my gateway, cleared the cache and cookies and uninstalled the app(!) low and behold, my phone now works just fine!

    I really cannot thank you enough for taking the time to offer me all this advice and thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything! You are an Angel!! 😆 😇 😍

    Next up, UrStyle's Facebook page which has a "recent" post from August 20th of this year, just three weeks ago, stating:
    Maintenance window scheduled on 23th of August. We are going to fix stability issues.

    If one person is running UrStyle right now, of course, answering e-mail is not their priority. Keeping the website (cash register) going is. This person is likely doing the maintenance without assistance, which means it will take longer than it would otherwise. If this is the case, I am not at all surprised if this one person is rotating server operations while trying to solve all issues on all platforms; the app, the website, different operating systems, different devices, different connections to the internet, different browsers, etc.

    We had a storm a couple weeks ago and I lost power for about an hour, after which, I could not get online. It turns out that my router got fried. I ordered a new one, it came last week, and it should have taken me ten minutes to set it up and get it running. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! My guy and I are STILL sharing my PC because I'm still struggling to get my computer to recognize the new router. This is unusual for me, but the point is that I'm STILL working on it. I cannot imagine having to run servers for a website this large and complex, having no other employees on-board, and expecting it to be done in a matter of days.

    Again, the fact that we are here and many of us are able to access the site just fine suggests that UrStyle is not going down, just blipping along until everything is straightened out (including finding new investors!). Someone told me that they cannot see any images at all, including Sets, but that the ads are showing up just fine. That tells me that The Wizard of Oz; the man person working behind the scenes at UrStyle, has his or her hands full, has A LOT of responsibility, and is doing their best to get everything back to normal.

    If they are upgrading the APP, then it makes sense that the App will be faulty. I try to stay away from apps for that reason. They're temperamental, so to speak. If I can get a direct connection to a website service through a browser, I use that. But that's just me.

    @funkyjunkygypsy Well good to know that someone is minding the store! I don't remember anything being better since whatever fix they did on Aug 23 but not being to techy, it may have been just enough to make things a bit smoother but not as obvious.

    I am sorry you had so much trouble with your router but I have to admit that it made me feel less clueless knowing that these dear little things we call computers are tempermental with anyone, no matter how tech saavy they happen to be. But I have no doubt you will figure it out!

    I think I mentioned in my first post that it was frustrating that I couldn't see any content but the apps were there loud and clear! But now that I know what the issue was all along (having the darn app on my phone!), that could have been the reason. I do know that advertising is extremely important to these free sites and never begrudge them that but having one person responsible seems a bit harsh but I suppose they do what works for them. I do feel much better reading that you think the site is going to be just fine and fingers crossed that those new investors see the value in this site as much as we do.

    I totally agree on the app thing. I think I will stay away from it for a while. Working from the website seems more practical and much easier to navigate.

    Thank you again so so so much for everything, I really was worried for a few days that things were not looking to good and given this darn pandemic and all these underlying conditions my body is determined to have (HAHA), this is an escape that I just didn't want to lose! How forunate we all are to have you as our tech guru!!
