Hello my darling friends...surgery over and now just trying to rest and heal. All the outpouring of love and prayers I have received from all of you definitely helped so much. Even my surgeon told my family afterwards that he rarely had this procedure go so smoothly, so that was very encouraging. I have been mostly sleeping the last couple of days, still in a lot of pain and discomfort but I know with time it will get better.
I had done some drafts before my surgery to have ready to go if I felt like it, but sitting up is painful and hard to do anything laying down but it is very cathartic in so many ways. Still have to wait on the biopsy to come back from the operation, and if negative, then I will be cancer free and just have to concentrate on getting better. Bless you all for your support, it just means the world to me...
Love Cindy

Just wanted to let you all know that I saw the Radiologist today and unfortunately, I will have go through Radiotherapy. They believe that most of the cancer is gone, but they can't be sure since the cancer cells are so microscopic and harder to detect. So, I have to do 5 weeks of treatment, 5 days a week, rest for two days on the weekend, so the cells can regenerate, and do it all again. Took me by surprise as I thought, or maybe just hoped that they would have been able to get it all, but unfortunately the biopsy was inconclusive so that is why they are recommending this additional treatment. So again, keep me in your prayers and hope this will finally do the trick...love you all, feeling a little overwhelmed but thankful it is not chemo...

You're a strong woman and if there are any cells still lurking, and the doctors aren't even sure, that's WONDERFUL! Think about it... IF there are cancerous cells, they are so tiny that they can be radiated. No chemo! How do they get a conclusive result?
Tell ya what.... rest, laugh, learn, play, meditate, pray, sleep, eat well, pamper yourself, keep a Gratitude Journal. Flood your life with pleasure (endorphins!) and happy thoughts and things, and your immune system will help kill off any nasty cells. Take care of YOU first and foremost, and thank you, Sweet Cindy, for letting us know you're doing much better!
-
@cindu12 Well, it is better to be on the safe side, Cindy. Once they have done the therapy you will be reassured that it has all gone. You know that all your friends are remembering you in our prayers.

@cindu12 You're in my prayers! Hus! xoxo
