i'm glad to see you're here, everytime i recognize someone from polyvore it feels a little more like home. i used polyvore since 2009, so i was (still am) totally heartbroken at the sudden loss. -

i was gothcherub, its been super difficult without polyvore and i never realized how truly unique it was until it was gone. im glad i see some familiar names!

@maggotpunk I was predatorytryst first (was supposed to sound vampire-y) and then fawntasea. Towards the end I was a member of the groups Vibii Prince$$, pushing up daisies, and wavy vibes. Two things that make starting over so devastating are losing all the items I've saved over the years (including niche lines and user uploaded content) and the members who worked hard to bring more representation to the site. I'd like to move forward with models more representative of my family, friends, myself, and the people in my life. And I hope to still be able to create art, even art which deals with uncomfortable subjects like depression, mental illness, and addiction.
It just kills me that I can't access my old items, I had so many years of amazing things saved. It would take me at least two years to restore even a third of it and that's just the commercial stuff

@affton ah, thanks for saying hi! What a devastating blow it was, to lose all of that, right? I tried shoplook for a few weeks, but just wasn't feeling it, so I am hoping to recapture some of the magic over here...

@ghoulnextdoor Yes it was devastating to lose Polyvore. We have a fantastic community of members on URSTYLE who are helpful and generous. The URSTYLE tem is listening to what features we want and are making ongoing upgrades . If you need help with anything, just message me. The forums are a great way to find answers. @affton ok well I do have one question to pester you with and I think I know the answer, but I am going to ask just to get some validation. I loved the ability to upload my own items and I see that URSTYLE has that functionality, which I have tried to use....but none of the items I saved are showing up! Do you know if this is because they've turned it off due to to testing out the clipper that they are getting ready to roll out?
That was one of the things I loved about polyvore, not being limited to the items that are already in the database, but rather being able to clip and save whatever weird or imaginative stuff that I wanted!

@ghoulnextdoor Yes. There is the ability to upload our own items. I have not tried to upload items today but I do know that work is being done on the site to bring us new features including a clipper so that could be the reason you were unable to upload items. Hopefully the clipper will be here soon and that will solve uploading issues. Looking forward to the "weird and imaginative" sets you create!

I'm still struggling to find a replacement. I tried trendme, shoplook, picsart+instagram and this site and I kinda gave up and took a break from creating this kind of collages. @wintermoon this will probably sound cheesy but the first thing I googled when polyvore went down was you. So seeing your name here inspires me to try this site again.

I've been a Polyvore user for eight years, believe it or not. Though I haven't been a very recent user for all that time, I made a lot of sets and collected a bunch of items and all of the sets that you can see now on my profile had been made for the past 4 years.
I found URSTYLE after Polyvore forever disappearing and I must say that it is very similar to it and my new sets don't differ so much from my old ones.
Thanks to this community I will still have a chance to express my style and creativity. Thanks everyone and thanks URSTYLE for caring about our community and giving us new opportunities. -
I was on Polyvore for 8-9 years and I never got any of my sets back sadly
I still can't believe it's gone. Nothing will ever be the same. My username was @spreadlcve and @lxst-in-a-daydream & inbaileymind. I had a lot of accounts lol. But I made it this far! -
