Trouble with saving sets
-
@lysianna Hi
I´m glad you were able to post the set. It looks like the cropping thing varies from case to case. In my last set, I cropped 12 items and I was able to post it too. Perhaps if the cropping is not as extensive (square, rectangle...) you can use it on more items??? I´m not sure
-
@lysianna Only 4? I really hope that can be changed
-
@myrrael there is no limitations, but probably some bug occurred. We will try to reproduce that issue and simply fix it. New option with drafts and "emergency" drafts will cover this cases also
-
@urstyle Oh, thank you. I was quite worried, there.
-
@urstyle thank you so much! I've lost 2 sets so looking forward to bugs being fixed
-
@urstyle just thought you should know my sets say that they've been saved but doesn't show up on my profile. The first one I did I cropped one item with 6 points and the second one with about 15 points. Tried to do a third set, not cropping anything and it said saved but it's not appearing on my profile x
-
@pursueinspire what browser and system you are using?
-
@urstyle Hi, guys! I'm having the same issue. And I'm using Google Chrome versión 65.0.3325.181 (64 bits)
-
This has been happening to me too, I’m relieved that it’s not about how many items are in the set but when I took a lot of items out I was able to publish it. I’m using safari
-
I just attempted to publish a set & it said in green writing that the set successfully published but when I looked at my profile it wasn’t there & now it’s gone
-
Concerning the cropping issue. It's either fixed, or I'm more patient, as I just published a liberally cropped set. I'm also noticing people publishing sets with quite a bit of cropping done.
-
@myrrael You could be right (can´t tell for sure, until there is a functioning draft feature I don´t want to create too elaborate sets), but there is a cropping and then there is an extensive cropping (my old PV sets had 30-40 out of 50allowed items cropped) also I think there is a difference between cropping simple shape and trying to closely crop a dress or something. What´s not fixed yet are those grey cropping lines, they are still there (I have to admit I´m not very handy with the pen feature and can´t draw a straight line to save my life).
-
@petri5 I just tried the pen tool today! After dozen times failing :))) finally I succeeded to crop without those grey lines!
-
@petri5 I hear you. Some of my old Polyvore sets took multiple sittings of four hours a stretch. I'm not about to test that much cropping only to have it fail to save.
And the pen tool is perfect with a drawing table
