PLACE FOR SUGGESTIONS

@admin a way to "clone" an item once i have shrunk or rotated it.

  • Art Expression

Just so wondering that when we were Polyvore users the items we placed in sets eg:- fashion items etc never had those sharp jagged lines around them is there anyway that #Urstyle can have them much smoother so as our sets do not look tacky... so to speak...Just asking if this coul dbe improvement for us all if possible would be so happy ... thank you and have a wonderful weekend!

  • Multiworld

Well, here are some suggestions to improve the site, in order of greatest need for the smallest:

1- SUGGESTIONS: from the site itself about collections from items or from last liked items.

2- Visualization of the sets in contests. This really is something that is missing.

3- Colorful backgrounds backgrounds in HOME. With option to lighten or darken, as well as model the sizes.

4- Suggestions of friends based on other friends you follow or simply on the sets you like.

  • Polyfam

@debraelizabeth Agree. Would love to have that function

  • Polyfam

@amrodrigues03 agree. this would help. + sorting alphabetich of the collections

  • @admin i haven't been able to get it to work if it's does but when cutting/cropping an image is there any way for us to save the shape we cut out? Not just for the set we're working on, but like a template for future use? Example would be I'm making sets with a particular necklace but each time i make a new set I have to recut the necklace, or whatever the item may be every single time i want to use it. On polyvore, if the item had been cropped by someone else and saved it would show and be useable for anyone else.

I definitely second @angiem 's post! I also think that it would be important to separate "set collections" and "item collections" (maybe even just in the user area, not necessarily on the profile. For example, a lot of writers/role-players use collections to group their stories or sets (I know I did). I am holding off on that because I want to make all my item collections first before I dive into group my sets. Other note, not sure if you can as of now, but I think it would be important to allow users to be able to edit collections. Writers/role-players sometimes like to put the collection in order, and I'm not sure if you can at this moment.

All in all, Urstyle has been a great, new haven for so many former (devastated) polyvore users. Thank you for everything you have done so far and can't wait to see what happens next!

  • For The Love of Vintage

How about the idea of a "group collection" - meaning a shared collection that several users could add to? That would save server space and user time if designated users or group members were allowed to post to a communal collection.

  • Doll Group

Dear urstyle I love your site, I just have one issue, when I click on the fashion search or home search the same items always come up, even though many wonderful people here have worked so hard to import exciting items, they never come up in the main search pages, will you be able to improve this, thanks πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•

  • Polyfam

I'd like to echo @johbri's request to have the option of sorting collections in alphabetical order in the organizer & creator. This was really vital to how I used polyvore, and hopefully would be relatively simple to implement?

Thanks for all your hard work x

@olivpear Thank you, I really appreciate it!

  • @admin Glad I found URSTYLE ! I am a displaced Polyvore user and I feel I have found a new home for my creative outlet...One thing I do miss here, is the colour spectrum tool, where we can choose colours to use in our designs...that would be an awesome app. to add ...is that possible ? In any case I love URSTYLE !

  • @vn1ta Anita,
Thank you for your quick response !
I have used the colour tool , which you mentioned, which pulls up items; ie: shoes, clothing or furniture in the selected pallets chosen ...but I am unable to drag a colour block onto my screen, to use in my designs for elements such as borders or to use colour to breakup or highlight items...on Polyvore there was a colour tool which allowed users to drag a selected colour block onto the screen which you could then modify, making the colour to appear lighter or darker or larger or smaller, or we were able to use the cutting tools to shape the colour into different sizes and shapes, kind of like on GIMP... is there a tool, which directly applies pure blocks of colour directly onto the screen to be used ?
    Thanks for your time...
    Sincerely, Michele

@michele-rice Dear Michele, thank you for clarifying πŸ™‚ Now I know what you mean - color blocks feature is on Urstyle's to-do list. For now, you can search for the color block collections here: https://urstyle.com/collections. Hopefully, that will help a little. Have a great day! β™₯

  • @vn1ta Thank you ! ❀

  • Polyfam

@michele-rice Do you mean where we could choose squares in color and scale the color from dark to light. (Opacity.) We could also choose colors by saying I want color combinations from the elements found in the set. I would also like this. We could have a single-colored background that fits exactly the color we want from the items we have chosen in the set.

  • Polyfam

@vn1ta .The feature you mention is not the one in polyvore. This one in Urstyle can only choose colors from existing elements and not single colored squares. The funchen In Polyvore we could choose squares in color and scale the color from dark to light. (Opacity.) We could also choose colors by saying I want color combinations from the elements found in the set. I would also like this. We could have a single-colored background that fits exactly the color we want from the items we have chosen in the set.

  • Magazine Look

Dear @johbri , Michele clarified her request and I understood what she meant after that - check our posts above. I have used Polyvore for 8 years and I know what color blocks are πŸ™‚ That feature is on Urstyle's to-do list. Have a great day! β™₯
