PLACE FOR SUGGESTIONS

  • Set fashion, no follow

Hi! wWould you concider adding possibility (in set editor) to move items by using arrows on fingerboard? β™₯

  • Doll Group

    @petra1999 No problem! πŸ™‚

  • Your Style and Fashion

I would be great to have an opportunity to delete some of clipped items...

  • Magazine Look

@ludmila Dear, you can delete your clipped items πŸ™‚ Just click on item title (to open it), then 3 dot menu on the left and select Delete. This video tutorial shows it: https://urstyle.com/topic/1564282/tutorial-how-to-edit-delete-items-easily-add-multiple-items-to-the-collection πŸ’

  • Twisted Gypsies

Can we tag members in our sets if we want someone in particular to notice them, or if a set is made for someone?

  • Twisted Gypsies

@olivpear What does this mean exactly? I would love to be able to use my mouse to scroll through pages in my collections instead of having to click on the page numbers.

  • Magazine Look

@funkyjunkygypsy Dear, tags in our set description are currently not active, but they will be in the near future.

Endless scrolling is removed from the Creator menu (because many members requested it), but endless scrolling is available for Collections on your profile.

I think that it would be useful to be able to scroll through pages using mouse wheel and I have suggested this to URSTYLE team 😊 πŸ’

  • MS. CASUAL

@vn1ta I would prefer scrolling also. Maybe they could put something in profile settings so we could choose Scrolling or pages?😁

Just wanted to get an update, if possible, regarding Collections and any changes in the works?

I would also like to share ideas/requests. Please excuse me if others have already suggested these improvements. This thread is a long one and being new to UrStyle, I'm not keeping track of it very well. I would LOVE member feedback on this:

πŸ”Ή It would be SO helpful if we could open a Collection and reorganize it simply by moving the different items around.

πŸ”Ή I would LOVE to be able to rearrange my Collections in an order of my choosing, and as often as I like, rather than simply have an alphabetic sort. (Perhaps there can be a way to sort by Newly Updated/Newest and a CUSTOM view, which is how the particular artist has it arranged?) If I add an item to a Collection, I would prefer the Collection remain where it is and not 'move to the top' (which doesn't happen now, thank goodness). However, when I'm working on filling a Collection, if I could temporarily move it to the top, that would be a delight. Then I can place it back where I want it to be, in the order I like (for creating sets) when I'm done.

πŸ”Ή When creating a Set and going through my Collections, once I leave one after exploring it, I am taken back to the beginning of my Collections rather than to the page of Collections I had been on. Also, there is no ability to scroll through a series of Collections. One has to click on the numbered link. Both "issues" are very annoying.

πŸ”Ή If we could β€œbatch move" items to a particular collection by selecting them when they are in 'LIKES' and/or 'ITEMS' and move multiple items all at one time, that would be FABULOUS!

πŸ”Ή It would also be extremely time-saving to have the ability to select multiple items and batch delete them from LIKES/ITEMS after they've been moved to a Collection.

πŸ”Ή Though I know I can save items in a Draft Set when I want to make a collection specifically around an idea I'm working on, it would be easier to have the ability to create Private Collections for that purpose.
Once Groups form and Contests start running, I would expect that if members had collections of items specifically for contest sets, they would not want their "competition" to be able to see what they're planning. Yes, we can draft a set, but I like to collect certain items for original ideas and for later use, and I like to keep particular kinds of items together -- even if those items are available and scattered among my "open/Public" Collections. Anyone have thoughts about this?

πŸ”Ή Is there a way to search for particular types of Collections? For instance, if I wanted to find 'Pink Home DΓ©cor' can I search specifically for Collections that have that name, a name like it, or a tag?

I LOVE what I’ve been seeing here so far. This website is really taking shape and becoming a wonderful place to create! I especially love how interactive those who run UrStyle are with their Users and how much they consider what the Users' wants are and what will make using UrStyle easier for them. I guess, unlike another website (ahem πŸ˜’ ) UrStyle realizes that happy users make for activity, which benefits UrStyle's sponsors/advertisers. It's a win-win! THANK YOU! 😍

  • Twisted Gypsies

@olivpear Hi Sweetie πŸ™‚ Having so much fun on URStyle with all the new Updates. it's heaven here! πŸ™‚ I was wondering if the URStyle Team is getting any closer to implementing some features regarding Collections:

    1. Alphabetizing them and/or making it possible for us to search for the Collections by being able to put the names of each one in the Search Box on the Collections Page so it will automatically bring them up when we put items in them.

    2. In the Create Page, we're able to search for our Items within a Collection by keying in the name, but not able to search for the Collection itself. That would save an enormous amount of time from having to scroll through hundreds of Collections, which I'm personally getting very close to having.

Thank you so much for all your had work! Have a great week! πŸ™‚

  • Twisted Gypsies

@rainheartart Can you read the post above yours (mine) without seeing dark lines and various format colors?

  • Magazine Look

@funkyjunkygypsy It seems to be fixed now - I noticed the unusual format earlier πŸ™‚

  • collections idea...would be neat if items in collections could be moved around. that way you can rearrange without deleting stuff.

  • Twisted Gypsies

    @jorie-foy now that's a cool idea too! πŸ™‚

  • Twisted Gypsies

@funkyjunkygypsy I'm not seeing anything like that right now and haven't noticed anything unusual.

  • URSTYLE FASHION

  • URSTYLE FASHION

    1. For set making please add forward and backward option.
    2. add organize item option.
    3. add friends group making an option with contest addition.
  • Twisted Gypsies

@rainheartart Thanks! I guess it fixed itself when I edited it. 😊

  • Something Blue RP

A couple of suggestions for organizing collections:

    1. Being able to move them around - to create a certain order for them to appear in. Like I might want my collections to be listed alphabetically, but I keep coming up with new collections so that's very troublesome to arrange (I'd basically have to delete them all and make them again, which is just waaaay too much work). This could work with a click-and-drag system in the Collections tab that could perhaps also be implemented in the collections themselves, making it possible to move the items around as well.
    2. Adding items to collections from the Liked or the Items tab rather than having to open the items individually. This could save a lot of time for somebody like me who ads a lot of items at a time.
    3. It would also be great if we could add in bulk from the tabs, e.g. there could be an option to mark several items at a time and then ad them into a collection using the feature of adding from tab that I just suggested.
  • Magazine Look

@caramelpz Dear, there are forward/backward options in the Creator. πŸ™‚
Just add 2 or more items to the canvas and then select one of them by clicking on it. You will see a popup menu on the bottom (see the pic below) ✨

    .

Organizer and user groups/contests should arrive very soon, maybe even this week! ✨
