The issue is this:
- The artwork, photos, graphics, images, etc. that the UrStyle Clipper Tool copies to its website for our use is a form of theft. UrStyle did not create these images for our use, which means they have been violating Intellectual Property Rights -- as have we. UrStyle's extension, the Clipper, is of their own design and it unknowingly puts us in the position of "accomplices" to theft. You can understand why no browser would want to support such an extension, as they become liable, too.

This law makes uploading content through the UrStyle ITEMS tab also questionable.
Look up: "Intellectual Property Law on Images" on any browser.
If you are uploading content that is not ENTIRELY your original work, and/or, not free to use and distribute, or created with graphics that are free to use and distribute, you are violating Intellectual Property Law without even realizing it.

UrStyle has been trying to keep their nose clean through its Terms of Service.
UrStyle also claims extensive rights to EVERYTHING uploaded to their website (including original graphics we create ourselves!) and EVERYTHING we create with those uploaded 'items', such as our Sets.
- Here is an excerpt from UrStyle's Terms of Service:
"You understand that any items you import, and sets you create on the Website will be made available to the public. Further, you hereby grant us, our affiliates, and our partners a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, nonexclusive, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, create derivative works of, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, transfer, transmit, distribute, and publish the sets you have created using the Website."

So, what to do?
There are plenty of options, yet I don't have the energy to detail them at the moment. I've been struggling with thyroid issues for months and feel physically weak, quite tired/lethargic, and unfocused. This too shall pass, but until it does, bear with me! In the meantime, upload Free to Use Graphics from the extensive amount of websites offering them._______________________________ Here are some tips to make this easier:_______________________________

There is a free extension called SAVE IMAGE AS PNG. It’s safe. I use it all the time. Find it here for Chrome and install:

When browsing images online, Right-Click on any (original) Image you wish to use.
A drop-down menu will appear.
An option to save the image as a PNG will appear.
Save the image as a PNG onto your device. -
If the image is too busy or you wish it to be a TRANSPARENT PNG, use this Free Online Tool: Remove Background

Choose the FREE "Preview" version of the altered graphic to download to your device.
OPTIONAL: Rename your new image when uploading them to your “Items" Tab.
Of course, if you already have or use a program that removes the background from an image, simply use that.
If you’re skilled with a Graphic Photo Program, you may deepen or lighten color, change contrast, adjust brightness levels, and upload a myriad of versions of your chosen images to play with.____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Keep in mind: Your ITEMS tab is not private.
Create a Collection, make it PRIVATE, and use the Item Organizer to transfer all newly uploaded images from ITEMS to the new collection. "Private Collections" are also not private, but more on that later. -
@funkyjunkygypsy sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. Hope you are getting better soon.
All of the product images that I clip using the clipper tool are products that I market for sale. They are available for purchase through my online shops.
So far, it only seems like Google Chrome has an issue with the Urstyle clipper. I have been going to Windows Edge to use the clipper and then back to Chrome to create my sets. It is a pain having to use two different browsers. Hopefully Chrome will be sorted out soon. -
@wacky-workshop Yes, you are one who DOES upload original images.
Thanks for the tip about Edge. I HATE Edge, with all it's spyware and "ways in" to your device, but for the Clipper only, it make not be a bad idea -- if it works for me! Where did you get the extension download for Edge? Thanks! xox -

@FunkyJunkyGypsy Wow. Interesting information. I'm wondering when this is going to apply to the other sites like TrendMe, Shoplook.io, Fashmates...... I do my work around when all else fails but it is tedious. Thank you for the detailed information explaining the reasoning behind the clipper removals.

@wacky-workshop Yes, the options are CHROME, OPERA, FIREFOX, and APPLE/Safari (I use a PC). Where it the Edge extension?

Hey Funky! First of all, thyroid problems suck and I have had a low producing thyroid since the 90's! I take a pill everyday that makes my thyroid as normal as possible!
I have not used the clipper tool for years because I found it to be a pain in the butt! I prefer to download PNG images to my computer; then, if needed, remove any backgrounds through: https://www.remove.bg/upload (much easier)! If you want a free image, you click free preview and the image downloads perfectly!

@funkyjunkygypsy Oh, how I feel for you! I've been battling thyroid issues since April. That's why I haven't been on here. I hope you feel better soon!
I didn't know about the issues with the clipper. I always figured that Urstyle, like Polyvore before it, was a form of copyright infringement or something, but I also can't imagine any of the stores or designers getting too bent about what amounts to free advertising for their products. Nervy of me, I know, but there it is.
P.S. I use Firefox. The only problem I've had with the clipper is that it asks me to log in to Urstyle every time I want to use it. Then I have to reload the page for it to work.

I'm too late here.. what adm said about this? Will they gonna solve the problem? I'm lost. Honestly I came here to create a little and find out more about the clipper tool.

@astrocosmic It's gone, but you can still upload images from your device. Save the images to your desktop or to a folder you use for the purpose of uploading. Then go to your ITEMS tab and upload from there.

Είχα ακούσει πολλά για διάφορα μέρη, αλλά προτιμώ να σχηματίζω δική μου άποψη πάντα.
