03/03/2025 Chrome Clipper Tool Extension ~ How to Bypass the Alert to Remove It
-
People using Chrome are getting alerts stating that the Clipper Tool is no longer supported and being asked to remove it. DON'T REMOVE IT!!! Ignore the alert. Tell Chrome to keep it, even if it warns you again.
When Chrome gives up and keeps it, the Clipper Tool will still be among your Extensions, but it will be turned off.
Turn it on and it should appear in your toolbar where it always is. You may want to give the page a refresh, or just open a new Chrome window. It still works.
If you've already removed it, reinstall from here:
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/urstyle-clipper-tool/fdjlldokfdiglkajbadmgbmbnljokpagThen, go into SETTINGS on Chrome and/or EXTENSIONS. The Clipper Tool should be there, but turned off. Turn it on and enjoy!
If you use a browser other than Chrome, try this link: https://urstyle.fashion/about_clipper

That’s right , do not do anything you’re told to do
@FunkyJunkyGypsy, agreed

@jewelsinthecrown
@janesstylediary
Do let me know if it works for ya --- anyone who does it.
I got the same alerts and did exactly as written in the original post. No problems! -
@funkyjunkygypsy I don’t use chrome hehe
-
It works! Thank you!
-
@funkyjunkygypsy I haven’t used the clipper in a long time, I download then upload as needed.
-
@jewelsinthecrown That's because you work your magic on them! I often do that, too!
-
@funkyjunkygypsy yeah! Thanks you sweetheart, won’t be creating for over a week I reckon because we have a cyclone coming Thursday and never experienced anything like it before it’s 55 years since this area has had one and it going to be a doozy with cyclonic winds up to 150k and deluge of rain and thunderstorms like 4-500 ml a day. There will be floods that’s for sure. I live about 20 minutes from the coast
-
@funkyjunkygypsy wind has already picked up outside and swirling around I don’t have much protection living next to a park and open area
-
@funkyjunkygypsy taped my windows until I ran out of tape just pray it passes quickly with not too much damage, it’s been at sea for weeks that’s why lots of water in it
-
I should have read this before removing it thinking I could re-install it...
do you know how to get it back or if it will be fixed any time soon so it can be added back? -
@FunkyJunkyGypsy Thank you
-

-

-

@queenofrocknroll I accidentally got rid of mine, but there is a way to get the clipper back. Here's what you do: go to the URSTYLE site on your phone or the app if you downloaded it from chrome. You go to clipper and select your browser. It should say added to desktop, but I'd click it again anyway because that's what I did. When you get onto your computer, on chrome it'll tell you that the clipper was added.
-
@kuriboh Thank you so much for your reply! Sadly, it isn't working either. on chrome in my phone it says "added to your computer" (i tried clicking twice, as you said) but it won't appear on Chrome in my computer.
I refresh the clipper on chrome in my phone and it continues to say "added to your computer" but it isn't appearing on my computer -
@queenofrocknroll I assume it brought up the chrome webstore, correct? I was on the downloaded app I have on my phone when I did it, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not? I'm not sure what else you could do to try and get it back. Maybe someone else might know?
