Lower Participation Rates... Is it just me?

Hey guys, I have lurking around URSTYLE recently (like over the past two months or so) and I've noticed that the number of people participating in contests for my groups has gone down. I've glanced at other people's contests and noticed their participation numbers were slightly down as well. I just wanted to ask has this been a trend everyone has been seeing or is it just me?
(side note: If it is just me, anybody got any ideas on how to encourage more people to participate? thanks! )

@mayblooms I didn't seem to notice the same, but i think it was just a pre-holiday break, most of them were busy looking for gifts and getting ready for the holidays.

I can't say about other people but I was very busy and wasn't on the urstyle as much as I wanted to. I noticed that I missed some of your great contests but I just didn't get around to participate. I am certain it's not because of you or your contests if there is less participation in the contests. I believe it's because of this crazy times around the world. And as I read there is some issues with the site from time to time... Anyhow, have a great New Year dear
