Hello friends, I recently noticed that there is one user I'm not going to name here that never ever likes any of my sets, well I said okay no big deal, but today I checked the profile and there is not a single like for any other users too!!! So, my question is: Is it okay? or not? Isn't this site for sharing? How do you expect people to like your sets and no like for them? What do you think about this? please if you are not okay to answer here msg me...THANK YOU xoxo....Shoaleh

Some people are more introverted and maybe need time to get used to a really active site like this. I don't think it's against any rules if you choose not to like other people's Sets. People participate to the degrees that they can and are able and we don't know if this person has other issues going on in his/her life that may limit their participation here. Maybe sending this person a message and just saying "Hi" to reach out might help. You can always unfollow this person as well if you're not comfortable with their non participation. URStyle is a pretty open group with lots and lots of varied personalities.

Honestly, I have no idea which user this is about. Everyone of us however uses this site differently. Many like "sharing" as you mention with likes,comments,messages etc. Others may not have the time to do so and keep up with everything or are here just for creating and likes are not significant for them. I guess it's both okay cause not everyone has the same time to spend here -and seeing your likes to return them was not an easy task before with the notification thingy- and not okay since this site is not only built for creation but also for communication,inspiration,sharing etc.
I'm only telling my opinion as a user that is totally "unstable". I either have time for everything or nothing. I sometimes eat up all my free time creating and then log off. I sometimes have no inspiration so i check everything else on this site liking,reading topics etc. Other times i am completely absent for days and others i just have the need to create no matter the likes or if my sets are good enough for others.
Yes,it's weird to not find one single like.But i guess there could be many reasons.

@shoaleh-nia Sweetie, I feel your pain. I'm not such a big creator as you here but in my opinion, if a bigger amount of my followers liked my sets it would be much better. I mean, I honestly like creating but I guess I'm also devastated that not many people get to see my sets...

it's a very simple procedure, more you like more get attention, I know it costs a lot of time that most of us don't have enough of it!! for some of us who have been many years on POLYVORE and know each other from past it's easier to find followers and get attention, hope you get more people to see your creation I'm sure they're fantastic...have a great day....BIG HUG...........Shoaleh -

I think it depends. If they message people and ask for likes or follows, have a username that has 'follow me' in the title, or ask for likes of follows on their about, then yes, it is rude.
However, if they keep to themselves and have possibly just made an account for fun, then I have no problem with that. Some people just enjoy creating sets and may not care about the social side of the site.

@shoaleh-nia I can understand what your feeling but you know what there is alot of people that never hit like on my sets as well even when i like some of their sets its ok i just dont hit like on their sets anymore i have followers that never like any of my sets my advice is dont give it any importance just keep doing your lovely sets and im here to give you likes

️@Shoaleh-Nia I understand perfectly well how you feel. I can only speak on my part, that I am not sad about that, that I don’t get some people "like" or comments , even if I really like their sets. I try to support everyone here and respect their, understand that not everyone has time for that and we are all different, communicate as much as I can, although I would like more, but how much time do I have to communicate.
Though when I was in Polyvore, I haven't communicated with anyone at all, I'm not was involved anywhere, I was timid and young, I didn’t trust myself, but now it’s different. I love when I can create, enjoy user amazing sets, and communicate with creative people, it’s one of my hobbies and ways to relax. I am very happy to have people here supporting me, and my sets, I really appreciate that. So what can I advise you to just enjoy the communication, create and continue very amazing sets, and don't stop to delight eyes your sets.️ I hope so understood your message,
and I'm sorry, if not, that's what I understood. My English is a bit complicated sometimes.

@Shoaleh-Nia Hi dear, i am relatively new here, but i think it just depends from person to person some people are introverts and are here just for the creating part of this site. And of course it can be that there time is limited who knows what the reason is, it is strange however that there is no likes at all. I sometimes find it very hard to keep track of all the people that like my sets. I will publish a set and then much later in the day when i have free time go back and comment and like sets. But i do get what you are saying its tough when you like sets and get no likes in return. All i can say is keep creating sweetie your sets are gorgeous!!! Regards Lisa xo

@Shoaleh-Nia I appreciate your honesty about the whole situation. I have a user and I mean that in every sense of the word who constantly takes from my items to create their sets but doesn't like any of my sets. I got curious about it and found same user taking from other users items instead of building their own inventory up or posting items to share. When I mentioned it to someone else they theorized that maybe the person was new and doesn't have time or know how to save items. Not sure I agree with that when said user has been on the site for months to a year. I agree with you it is a sharing site and it's difficult for me also to find enough time to get around to all of the sets I see and want to have the time to comment and like. If I don't have time to comment at least I try to add a like. I've started just taking a few hours a week to devote to liking and commenting.
I'm trying to do more collections but it's just as much a not okay issue when users take continuously from collections many of us spend time creating and they don't like the collection. None of us can account for the things others do. It may be a result of time or just plain ole selfishness. I love creating on this site and I had to get to a place where I'm just going to do my thing and let those nagging little things role on by.
