Urstyle social media abandoned
-
I've noticed that urstyle have not added new posts to Instagram since 13th November 2019.
If they need help can't they ask for a volunteer to help. Sure someone here a member could step in.
Or they schedule posts for few weeks. Why's the social media been abandoned? Surely the more people know about the site, the more brands will come to use it and help fund the up keep to the site. With adverts and such.

@dotingsage They'd be very silly if that's the case, especially in the current environment with more people than ever using social media (even my mum who's nearly 80 has started on facebook & whats app) and more people doing online shopping (I never buy clothes online just in case they don't fit correctly and saves the hassle of sending them back) but I have had to buy 2 pairs of jeans and I've also bought my niece's birthday present & Mums mothers day present. Also people are looking for creative outlets and things to do, that was how & why I came across and started using this site. Fingers crossed we keep going strong!

It's not just Instagram, their Facebook & Twitter accounts have not had updates for months. I've also noticed that this site is never updated. the main page has had the same sets featured for many months. And on top of all of that, Pinterest has now blocked URSTYLE so we cannot pin any of our sets. All very annoying and for some reason we just don't get updates from @admin like we used to. Of course, with the current climate we all find ourselves in, I am sure they have been affected as well, however, keeping in contact with us would be a nice change even if they say they have nothing to report or even if they just don't have the manpower but no communication is maddening.
I also agree with @Dee-Discovolante (is that a nod to the James Bond movie "Thunderball"?
) that in these times you would think that promoting this site is paramount to it's success.
In any case, these are just my thoughts and opinions. I have no real complaints with our site, love creating here so hope we can hear from them soon.

As you see, we are here and alive. Facebook profile is updated when necessary, twitter and instagram accounts are frozen until we will not push some new features to UR

@admin I feel you are loosing some potential users or brands might not discover the site. Therefore won't invest in urstyle in anyway that could help bring in money for the fantastic website.
Sorry if you think this is rude, but inconsistency looses people. -
@admin Good to know you're still around. If users are aware of your presence the site will grow and attract more advertisers. Thanks

Just please give a few days, in the mid of May we are planning to push some important features, then we will back to updating our social media channels.
You are more than welcome to invite friends on your own channels -
@cindu12 I understand during the pandemic the social media will be quieter. But the months before this? It takes less than 10 minutes to update social media. Even posting a set or photo of the site should not be too difficult.
I feel slightly abandoned. I agree with cindu12 -
After seeing the response from @admin I do understand they are working hard to stay on top of all this, but I do agree that at times, especially when we don't hear anything for long periods of time, it does get very frustrating. You know, they did such an amazing job when they were first getting started with communication, that it is hard to lose that, so I hope they understand we are very spoiled!!

@admin Thank you for checking in with us and letting us know. As I mention in my post above, you spoiled us so much in the beginning with your constant posts, emails, etc., that we have come to expect that from you and when it starts to be less than what we are used to, we do get restless. Having said that, we do appreciate all of you and thank you for giving us such a wonderful platform to create our art!
