Have I told you lately how much I love you?Have I shown my immense appreciation for your website and all it offers? Have I thanked you, very sincerely, for all the improvements, added features, updates, fixes, and all the hard work you've done to not only achieve an outstanding place to design and shop, but to maintain your fine service? Have I shared with you how much the people I’ve connected with on UrStyle mean to me, how much they inspire me, teach me, and how happy it makes me to make them laugh? YOU… You, UrStyle, give me a gift every day; a blessing in the form of an artistic community where I can connect with other creatives and learn new things, where I can open my mind -- and my sense of style -- to types of fashion, furnishings, and art I may not have ever explored. Have I told you how grateful I am for this? Have I complimented you on a fine web design and all it's little details, details I do not take for granted? Have I thanked you for being so willing to “hear” us; your Users, and address our concerns, requests, needs, and desires by communicating with us and by constantly making improvements? Have I cheered for you? Have I let you know how much I rave about you to others, or revealed that your website is a form of therapy for me; a place where I can take time away from the demands of offline life and immerse myself in art while feeding my imagination? Have I even expressed how wowed I am by the abundance of products available to feature as images in our Sets? Have I mentioned how impressed I am with the obvious pride and passion you have? I love when you surprise us with improvements, additional features, and fixes! So great! Have I at least told you that? Yes, I ask again: Have I told you lately how much I love you?
If I have not, it’s because this website is so f*cking slow that I’m unable to.
I’m also unable to open Sets or Collections, save them, participate in Contests, browse my Feed, appreciate the art of others, or Favorite that art. All I get are spinning circles and frustration. Usually, when conducting site maintenance, you warn us, or at least post something on your Twitter feed. Is the site running so badly that you can’t even get a Twitter post up?

Thank you so much for this excellent cri de coeur! It expresses my feelings and experiences so perfectly. This has been so frustrating, especially since as a high-risk person I am self-isolating. I actually managed to publish a set today after attempting to work on it since last night. My feed has little in it, presumably because no one can publish sets. That's when I could get to my feed; it was unavailable most of the day. I hope someone is valorously working overtime on this (remotely). We will be grateful. Or at least relieved.

It has been hit and miss for 3-4 days now, maybe staff has been told to stay out because of virus and they are on skeleton crew, but just please tell us so, give us hope this is temporary, even an honest ''we don't know whats wrong'' would help. Hopefully they respond. I love urstyle too, and all my twisted sisters!

Thanks for this post. I thought I was losing my mind. I was able to publish one set and then circles. Urstyle has quit communicating and that makes me nervous. Are they walking away? Would they do that to us? With all the rain I thought tonight would be perfect to create. I guess that's not going to happen.

Sounds a bit ominous, but I have come to expect that lately given the state of our world. If they aren't able to maintain the site during this pandemic, then it is going to be a very long few weeks...

@sjlew the site hasn't had any updates for months. Look how long the featured sets section has stayed the same for. Even on lock down they can tweet in this modern age of technology.

@dotingsage right now we are working on other full time jobs to just pay bills for URSTYLE servers, that's why we are not doing new features in the last months. Hopefully in the next 3 weeks this situation should change and we are planning to deliver some improvements !

@admin I'm not asking for new features. I don't actually think new features are needed right now. It's the keeping us in the dark for ages about what's going on. The way stuff on the site have not been updated or broken. That's what I was on about. Last tweet was 2nd Dec. If you are struggling you can ask members for help..

@admin I really appreciate your transparency regarding that, which makes me appreciate the website even more. Perhaps someone could sit down after work for a short time and tweet out an update so your Users won't feel abandoned. Keep in mind, Polyvore DID abandon us so many of us are "once bitten, twice shy". SIncerely, I do love UrStyle and thank you for all you do!
