What is your name / nickname?
Denise, Romaboots on URStyle. -
Where are you from?
I was born & raised in California & am proud to be a 4th generation Californian. -
What is your occupation?
I am currently retired. In my former career I lived and worked in San Francisco where I served as Chief Human Resources Officer for an international university and served as VP Human Resources for a social responsibility nonprofit. -
What are some of your hobbies / interests?
My hobbies are reading, creative writing (I’m in a memoir group), film, the arts, travel and all things fashion which of course includes creating sets on URStyle. My interests are mainly based around women’s issues. I am a volunteer on a crisis line for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. -
How would you describe your personal style?
I love to mix timeless classics with edgy, statement pieces. My personal style motto is to wear something naughty every day. -
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I am the oldest of 10 children 5 of whom are adopted Koreans. -
What are your favorite brands? / Who inspires you?
Alexander McQueen is my all time favorite designer. He turned the fashion world upside down when he came on the scene back in the day. I also love Victoria Beckham, Chloe, Roland Mouret, and many emerging labels such as Attico, Off-White and Markarian. -
What kind of sets do you like to create on URSTYLE?
I love creating fashion sets. To me, it’s all about the artistry in styling that motivates me. -
How would you describe URSTYLE in 3 words?
Customer service oriented, innovative, up-to-date content. -
