Solution for set-publishing issues

@familyrppartner I've been having the same issue with sets either taking forever in limbo or not publishing. Is there a solution?

@diane @ittgirl we are still improving that process.
If sets can't be published but have been redirected to an empty set page with spinner, our system will retry publishing operation in the next 30min. No additional action is required.If sets can't be published, and user has been notified about that via popup message with the ability to download backup files. These files should be sent to [email protected] and we will upload them manually

Should I keep it open while the circle is spinning or is it okay to switch pages? If I switch will my new set be lost? @admin

@fashionmonkey You shouldn't close the page while the circle is spinning - just open a new tab on your browser to do something else and leave the tab with loading set opened until the set is published successfully

@vn1ta Hey I had a problem yesterday with publishing a set and I have sent the back up to the email you have provided. I would just like to know how long it will take for my set to be published. I appreciate the work you are doing and I would understand if you are busy. I'm only curious as to how long it takes you to proccess data like that.

The set-uploading process is handled by them. I think that they will do it in the next 2 days. If not, you can contact me and I'll remind them. Have a great day!

My set wil not upload. What does this mean? I got this message:
"Unable to read this file. This is not a valid wallet file or the format is not supported." -

@admin What is a json-fil.

@johbri you are trying to open json file in the paint, instead of a image file with png/jpeg extension

@admin unfortunately thatโs the only option the program is giving me. I had never even heard of a Json extension or the paint application until the great migration so I am assuming this is something that will be remedied in time. I am unable to save or publish sets so I am putting my set making on hold until things calm down a little for you guys. Donโt forget to get some sleep

@fassionista @johbri Dear friends, you can always Google this, if you do not understand what the file extension stands for
Here is an explanation below.
If you have received backup files from URSTYLE (.json and .png file) for the sets that were not published, please send them to [email protected] and admins will upload them to your profiles. Please make sure to write your username or give URSTYLE profile link in the email, so that admins know where to upload the files.

@vn1ta thank you, dearest for the explanation. I am afraid I have no idea what goes on on the back end, therefore I am easily confused. I just know that you guys are doing a fabulous job in making this site even better than PV ever was AND keeping us in the loop about what is going on which we all appreciate. And by the way, my set was just saved successfully, so thank you again.

@vn1ta Hey, it's been eleven days and my set still hasn't been posted yet. Is the email we should send out .json files the same? I haven't gotten any feedback from the administrators regarding my set.

When you get backups of your set, one file is in .png format, the other one is in .json format. You should send both of them to the administrators via [email protected]. You should also make sure to include your URSTYLE username or profile link, so that admins know where to upload the set
You can send them another email to remind them. Unfortunately, I cannot help you upload your set, as I'm a Community manager, not an IT specialist.

@thegrey1 I've just sent a message to admins to remind them about your email. They should respond soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Another solution would be to upload the .png file to Pinterest, clip it to your URSTYLE profile and then publish it as a picture. You should just add a couple of items in the background since each set must contain several items.

@vn1ta hi hun, a set I published about 4 hrs ago entitled โ
๏ธโ has disappeared. It was the second to last one. I published. It saved fine and I had 1 comment to which I responded. I added the lyrics to a song in the commentary and saved it again and again it saved fine (although it did take a while) and I just opened my iPad and itโs gone. Should I just wait? Or is it gone for good? Thank you so much for any help you can give.
Addendum: so I went to the notifications tab and clicked on where someone had liked it. It sent me to a link https://urstyle.com/styles/1979933 which revealed the spinning wheel the text of the song but no set picture. Is this something for @admin ?

I've opened the link and I get the spinning wheel as well. That set is also not visible on your profile. I think that it should load soon. In any case, I will forward your post and set link to admins for checking. I'm not sure why does this happen
