EDITING TOOLS BLACKING OUT ITEM

Usually, when I go in to edit an Item, there's a light shadow that surrounds the Item when I start using any one of the editing tools, but now the editing features are not showing the Item at all when I try to cut around them. The Item goes completely dark and I can't see what I'm trying to cut out. Just want to confirm if this is a separate issue or a platform glitch. Thank you !

I haven't had that particular problem but today some items were cropped (like a coat with the hem cut short) when I hit the "no background" option when creating a set. When I hit the "background" option (white background) they were not cropped. Also have had trouble with the editing bar at the bottom of the page not staying up; it would disappear after one click.

Could you please post there that you have this issue, too? That way problems keep clear and together( Not sure about the rest of your post, sorry! )

Could you hit the new preview button, please? Just to see if it toggles for you. If not, it might be bugging out as it will show the item after crop when pressed and held.

@romaboots still having same problem today. Can make up a set and when I want to publish it , it still says an error has happened and it cant print the set and to try again later, this has been happening for 20 hours approx

vn1ta thank you for your reply. Do you know if this is a temporary problem, after 20 plus hours I was wondering if it was a problem with just my sets, getting frustrated now haha

@jean They'll have to hunt down the issue and perhaps even fish up your set by hand. If you haven't done this yet, grab a screenie and save to your system. Also check if the set is in draft, too.
( I currently have a set in Draft for I think two weeks now, so I know the pain. ) -
Being a lady in her 70s and only having had a laptop for a few years I am not up tp date with all these things to do, I enjoy doing my sets and publishing them but as for doing more advanced things I am afraid I have problems with it, thank you for your information,

@jean Don't worry about it, please.
Just imagine someone building a house in your backyard and you're hearing all the noise and thus not getting a lot done of what you'd normally do. That's about what's happening right now. Urstyle is building vigorously and the noise they're making is shaking the house you're currently in.
The set you tried to publish is suffering from these metaphorical shakes and noises. It's not just you. There are a lot of people in the house you're currently in complaining about the noise the neighbours are making and spilling tea and coffee all over the place.

All, I restarted my browser after clearing the cache and signed back in......it appears everything is working now as I'm able to save and publish. Great work URSTYLE team!!!!

@myrrael the Preview Button doesn't show the Item at all. I tried the editing tools again this morning and the crop tools are doing the same thing. When I start to outline the Item, it just goes dark and won't show the Item. There's definitely some kind of glitch going on in the editing tools and like your issue, I also can't use the send to front or back features either. They don't work. It just seems like several people are having issues like this on the Create Page.

@jean Oh okay. I've been looking Jeannierose for awhile. Lovely, lovely lady who ran several groups and she was in her 70's but her health was failing last time we spoke before PV shut down. Boy, the impact that shut down had on friendships was pretty powerful. I'm so relieved many of us are finding our new home here at URStyle.

Thank you for asking. I see several ladies are now on urstyle that were on polyvore, its so nice to see their work again and to be able to be in contact with them again, I have had several messages from ladies that I made friends with and nice to be able to reply to them. Its like having penpals only in a much nicer way.xx

@jean yes absolutely, we get to share our creativity with each other, have groups that include others and we make more friends as well!

Please clean your cache (instructions given here: https://urstyle.com/topic/1553017/important-information-about-urstyle ) and then check the Creator again. It should work well now
