Few remember the golden era of Oz. The peaceful reign of Ozma, with her council including the Wizard, Dorothy and all those other figures of history. The few who were around before the darkness rarely speak of it, too. The fear of retribution is too strong, so the stories are only passed along in secret. The rumors that there will come a time when good reigns again.
Darkness has claimed the Emerald City and has seeped out into the countries. Only the resistance has prevented it from taking full control. Only the resistance has kept hope alive, knows the truth of the rumors and might hold the key to returning Oz to its former glory...
ooc info: This is an RP taking place post-Wizard of Oz canon, very loosely based on the takes on the world that were depicted in Tin Man and Emerald City, but with my own little spin on things.
The Resistance base exists deep in the mountains and forests near Glinda's palace in Quadling country, well hidden by her magic spells
rules:
- characters are semi-premade, although I'm open to allowing model changes to an extent, or the introduction of other characters if any are needed (for some characters there was a lot of thought put into the suggestions due to character descriptions in canon - because yes, a lot of these are actually established in Wizard of Oz canon - so there's a bit less leeway on those)
- I'm not going to require sets/stories on a regular basis, but please do stay active by responding to others' sets, commenting, etc.
- odds are there will be the need for a lot of collaboration as these characters are all dealing with the same situation, and they're all part of the Resistance so would logically be working together.
