- Born and raised by her mom and grandmother in Michigan. Showed interest in acting and music from an young age, thus why her mother enrolled her for piano and dance lessons since she was six years old. According to her, such activities were never really forced on her and that she herself insisted for them.
- Her mother had to work two jobs in order to support their move to Los Angeles, as well as their stay there. It wasn’t until Tonie got signed with Disney. Unlike the rest of the girls her age, it seemed that Tonie was destined to either play the sassy best friend or the rival, but never the main character. Up until one of the shows she starred in got its own spin off, but unfortunately that didn’t last long due to poor writing and low ratings.
- Due to her mother’s insisting, Tonie enrolled in university right after her show’s cancellation while secretly auditioning for various roles her agent got her. Eventually she was offered a starring role in Fox’s adaptation of the musical drama Fame, where she would not online showcase her talent for acting, but also her talent for singing and playing the piano. Tonie would later get nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Scene Stealer the following year.
- Aside from her television gig, Tonie made sure she slowly, but surely made her mark on the big screen as well. Much like in her Disney days, she once again scored minor roles, but always made sure she gave her 101% so she would be memorable. It was during one of those movies where she met Madeline. On screen the two played best friends and their chemistry was so unbelievable that the producers promoted the movie along with their off screen friendship. Sadly, the two didn’t get along as well as they did behind the cameras so every second they spent together was accompanied with forced smiles and empty conversations.
- It wasn’t long before they had their public fall out – Tonie was painted as the villain in the scenario but she didn’t really care, she had a show to film and a role in an upcoming superhero movie – both that were incredibly successful due to the publicity. She is slowly becoming a favorite not only among directors, but among designers and photographers as well.
- Her show’s final season is currently in the making as she only recently wrapped a movie that will very surely be a fan favorite among the Academy as well as the several film festivals. The movie already has enough publicity, but you can never have enough so the producers are pushing Tonie to take part in a faux romance with her co-star. She’s not opposed to the idea, because the two of them get along great, but there’s also the part where she’s starring in Broadway with an ex whom she’s still very much in love with. (and he might feel the same way too?)

CAREER:
History – Started off as a child actor in various Disney shows – always played the snarky best friend or the main character’s rival. Her most memorable role is the one of Raye Williams where she plays the rival of Elle Kingston’s (think Selena Gomez) character. The pair’s dynamic drew so much attention that Disney proposed a spin off show where the two characters attend university together and are roommates. But the show wasn’t as popular as predicted and it was cancelled only after one season. During her Disney contract she started a music career, that garnered her a small fan base, but never truly broke out as the rest of her colleagues. When her contract with Disney expired, she decided to continue her education by enrolling in UCLA where she would study film and music, only to drop out five months later when offered to star on the Fox’s musical drama Fame inspired by the 1980 film and television series of the same name. Tonie played the role of Denise Dupree, a talented singer and pianist. During the series run, Tonie released her first solo album, In Motion. Although not entirely successful, the album received positive reviews, in which many praised her vocals. In the years that followed she has had small roles in several comedies – her most notable being her role in 22 Jump Street where she played Maya Dickson, the daughter of Ice Cube’s character as well as Jonah Hill’s love interest and Beth in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. Despite both movies initial success, her so called big, big break came in 2017 when she portrayed Liz, the love interest of Peter Parker in Spiderman: Homecoming. This particular role made her a more recognizable face in Hollywood and finally allowed people to see beside the image Disney had created for her over the past several years. With her show’s final season about to start and her next big movie’s latest premiere, Tonie decided to fill her free time by trying something new: becoming the next big Broadway star.First Show:

Personality: Aurora isn’t really fond of Producers and Directors. She still holds many grudges on the many that judged her, not knowing the full story. So needless to say she doesn’t really possess that weird quality all up and coming actors have where they kiss everyone’s ass. She knows what they are really like. If anyone as much as disrespects her outside of constructive criticism she does not take it. She knows that is not the way to make it to the top, but she will not make it fakely. Being her is all she will do. She can and will get to the top.

Biography: Aurora despite growing up in the city of angels she’s never really been much of one. When she was a child she starred in Barney along with a couple of big named celebrities. Her parents thought her acting career would take off after that. They were wrong. As she grew up she wasn’t remembered as someone who was on Barney. She was overshadowed by her more famous co-stars. She did, however, catch a big break when she was 15. She played in the hit Disney movie Camp Rock, starring alongside names like Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. Though her role was outstanding she was soon forgotten. One night she got drunk and wrecked the set with some fellow cast mates. The cops showed up and caught her. No one else was caught. She got fired and her name was tarnished. Despite her amazing voice and acting abilities, no one will hire her. So she decided to quit acting under her real name and make a new image for herself. This was the birth of Lily Skye. She dyed her hair and wears colored contacts to castings and introduces herself under the alias of Lily Skye. This is her first show as Lily.
Motive: Being extorted/blackmailed by Madeline. Somehow Madeline found out about her past and threatened to expose her. Aurora begged her not to do it, saying she needed a new start. Madeline obliged. She made a deal with Aurora. She’d keep her secret and call in sick a few shows so she could get her stage time but she had to do something for her. Madeline suspected she was in trouble and she needed help on figuring out who was following her and sending her weird things.

They both look really good. I'm trying to see if anyone else wants to join but I don't want to push. In terms of first show, it should be your first broadway show. The concept I have for the show they are doing is called The Apartment Building where it focuses on three different apartments and their lives until they finally all cross paths.

tbh this looks really fascinating to me because I'm a bit obsessed with theater (okay, musicals but w/e). The first problem with me is that I should really finish up the auditions I already have going for a couple other rps here, and also, I'm sad there isn't a costume coordinator/designer lol So I'm having an issue deciding who to try out for.

@buffykdh I would love for you to join. When I was initially creating pre-made characters, the Costume Designer was one of the characters. I just couldn't come up with much for it. Here's what I had though.

Hey, is it possible to create like a intern character? like an film student that has an internship working as an assistant to the director and maybe madeline was terrorizing her or making her do terrible tasks -
Okay, weird question. If we're auditioning for a crew member, not an actor/actress position, do we still need to include the voice claim/acting claim part of the form? (because yes, I'm considering auditioning for the costume designer, especially as I'd had a costume designer/costumer character eons ago on Polyvore for an RP that never went anywhere)

I don't mind creating a couple of other characters. I had a certain amount in mind for this group so I will take out some of them. I guess for this time around I'm going to just replace the Composer and the Male Lead with the two new characters. In the future I will know to leave the number of characters larger and one or two open slots
