Blocking items in your profile

Is there a way to block, if so how.

@lastchance I noticed once I put them in my items they appeared when I was searching for something totally different-very strange.

@jewelsinthecrown I want my items to be private until I use. Some are saving items before I can use. I spend a lot of time downloading and editing and they go thru like a store shopping.

@sklooks I wish we could have the option when downloading to select private or public.

@lastchance once you download an item and place it in a folder, from organizer, you should delete it. Also make sure the folder you create is marked private so that only you see it until you use it.

There is a problem - your clips still not totally private. There is no real BLOCK. If someone uses your name in the search spyglass - ALL of your items will come up and your newest will be the very last ones. That's a lot to get to someone's items - you have to really want them. Some of my things are Private and I do delete after clipping and collecting unless it's something I don't really care about.

@girlyideas Thank you for your response, I just started editing and never had to think about it. It would be nice to have a private or public selection when downloading items. Have a great night x

@lastchance Yes, as Cindy said, you can make a private collection and then delete the items.I do this if I am gathering items for a specific set. But remember that when you use them they are out there for anyone to use. I personally don't mind who uses my items once I have made what I clipped them for.... so feel free to help yourself!! 🥰

@helencampbell Thank you for reaching out also thank you for clipping and editing.. I just started and it takes time. I don't have a problem with anyone using the items.. but just as a I downloaded them they were being saved.. after I use I don't mind. xx

I add a lot of stuff to the database, some edited and some unedited and I don't mind if anyone uses my clips even before I use them. A lot of the stuff I clip I don't ever use or I use months later! URstyle is a community of creators so we should share to be more supportive of each other works. I like seeing other members use my stuff. It makes me feel that I got a good eye for good fashion! So please use my stuff with the exception of my name logos and family photos!!!

@curekitty Thank you for reaching out... I completely agree with all that was said. I clip a lot too and some I don't use right away or mind if anyone uses. Please know that I'm not wanting to block all my items or not wanting anyone to use my items but there are some items that I may be using in a contest and as soon as I save they were being saved. Once I use it's up for grabs. I have made many collections , going thru my saved and likes items and made them available for anyone to use.
