@heartsongs @jesuisunlapin The circle/oval tool has been working off and on. Laptop, both firefox and chrome. Yesterday it worked for a while then didn't. Right now it is working, 11:45 am PST. The problem seems to be instability.

I believe it's instablility, which gets worse when there are so many people on the site (this has happened to me over the years on other sites).
