Blocking people

Hi there! I was blocked by a member and now I’m not able to block her myself. I just get the “Oops! We can't find that page.“ message. It would be definitely better if you guys could display the message that the person blocked us. We wouldn’t be able to see their content but we still would have the option to flag or block that person too. Thank you.

UPDATE: a very smart friend helped me to solve this.
“Go to your profile and click the three dots. Then click blocks. You should see a search box where you can type in the user name and push toggle block.”
Voilà! It works like a charm!

With everything that has happened in the past few days here on this forum, I hope Urstyle will address these issues now. Many people have told me that the blocking function doesn't work correctly. I haven't tried it myself, so I don't want to weigh in on it too much yet. I thank you Urstyle for finding a way to provide a wannabe writer like myself a forum for expressing my creativity in various ways.

Something that I did not think of was if you are blocked...does it work both ways. I would hate to think of someone being angry enough at you and blocking you but you cannot block them also.

@maisondeforgeron it’s not how it works on Twitter or Pinterest, for instance. If someone blocks you there, you still have to visit their page to block them, otherwise they will still be able to see your profile. I don’t know how it works on FB & IG because I don’t have accounts there.

@jesuisunlapin I have a twitter account but have never used it. I share a FB account with my mother, so we have about 20 family members and I don't worry about blocking them. I was just wondering how it works here. I would hate to think that someone blocks you but you cannot block them too if you wish. It would seem a little lopsided, but I am sure Urstyle will work out all of this in the future.

@maisondeforgeron I used to enjoy Twitter very much, but it’s just very intense right now. I do LOVE Pinterest though. I deleted FB & IG two years ago and I don’t regret. Please, don’t block any family members

@jesuisunlapin Thanks I'll try that! That was one thing I was wondering as well if a person(s) have you blocked, if they're able to see your profile. I'll try that now!!!
