Imported images are not adding to set in full size when creating set.
-
Is anyone else having this problem please? When I add a image to a set it is being cut off two thirds the way down??
-
Have you tried using the zoom in and out at the very bottom of the publish button Ollie?
-
No I havn't noticed anything like that tonight xxx
-
Yes. It happened to a .png. It happened to a set after it published also. Looked funny with half of my coffee cup showing up. In drafts before I published it looked great, after publishing it was partially gone. When I went back in to edit, it looked fine. I republished it, and it was missing again. I just replaced it.
-
Yes I have had this problem repeatedly. It seems like it happens only with certain websites I clip from (Modaoperandi being the main one). I run the items through Pinterest and then clip them again and they're usually fine.
-
I am also having this issue with many of my items. Haven't determined a pattern yet. It isn't the websites I've clipped from because other items from those website are fine. I can see the full item when I click on the middle box to the right when in editing mode but then there is the white box around the item that needs to be edited. I do know that some of the items were fine for a while (because I had used them a few times -- eg. necklaces) and then this started happening. I can't pinpoint a time.
-
@ollie ..no, not had this issue.
-
@romaboots @MaisondeForgeron @DianneC @FashionMonkey @vkevans These are Moda Operandi items but I do not think this is the issue as the items are there in full, in different views but not in the one which takes out the background??. Still happening tonight
Thank you to all who have responded.
-
@Ollie yes your are right. On my end they are Moda items, but not ALL Moda items, plus they weren't always cut off either. Thanks for the input.

Dear friends, the admins require specific item links (the ones that are problematic - cut in half, in this case), so please post them and they will check it asap
@Ollie @FashionMonkey @MaisondeForgeron @romaboots

Here are two of them https://www.modaoperandi.com/maison-margiela-pf18/dropped-pocket-high-rise-wide-leg-jeans
https://www.modaoperandi.com/frame-denim-pf18/le-nouveau-straight It's taking a while to figure out the other ones. @vn1ta -
@fashionmonkey Thank you very much, dear
But I think they meant imported items (here on URSTYLE)
I apologize for not clarifying it earlier.
-
Like this? https://urstyle.com/shop/10574458 @vn1ta
-
@fashionmonkey Yes dear, thank you
-
@fashionmonkey I've just checked that item in the Creator. In the "No background" mode, it loads like it's cut, but in the "Full background", it loads properly (shown on pics below)
-
@vn1ta https://urstyle.com/shop/10714793 When I opened it, it was a Google image, and it doesn't even show me which one. I don't think this will be much help. Sorry.
-
@maisondeforgeron I see what you mean - same problem there. It's cut in half on "No background" setting.
-
Dear friends, @Ollie @FashionMonkey @MaisondeForgeron @romaboots one of the admins told me to recommend you to try re-uploading the problematic items. He said that changes related to image upload and conversion were applied on August 28.
Please try this and let me know if it works for you
-
@vn1ta The funny thing is that it was fine in drafts and didn't do this until I published it. There are many of this image on Google, so I will try uploading again. I preferred this one in my set, but put the set into edit and put another image in its place for publishing. If it works, I will have my original set back!
-
@maisondeforgeron Ugh, I've just tested it with one Moda Operandi item and it was cut in half in "No background" mode...
I will let the admins know about that right away. I'm not sure if it will work for you, so I apologize for the previous comment. I will come back with more news as soon as possible.
