Sorry to put this smack dab in the middle of plotting, but it wouldn't let me comment yesterday and I wanted to get it up.
[ Name ] : Dominic Augustine Marchesi
[ Age ] : 18
[ Alias ] : Dominic Orville, only when traveling.[ Sexual Orientation ] : Straight, but very comfortable with displaying affection to just about anyone.
[ Pronouns/Gender ] : They/Them & He/Him[ Type of Student/Class Professor ] : Royal
[ Type of Royal ] : Duke[ Country belonging/servant/handmaid/defender to ] : Iros
[ Country’s background ] : Iros is famous for its Gardens, lush flora and fauna cover just about every inch of the Country. Even the Palace doubles as a greenhouse. They are notorious for playing the game of war with dignity, having spent the first two wars almost entirely removed from the conflict (think Sweden), it was not until the third WW that Iros became a force to be reckoned with. Otherwise, they are notoriously generous, allowing foreign countries to use their farmland and supporting their people as often as they can. Generally pretty small in comparison to some of their sister countries, but still manages to stay afloat.[ Likes ] : the outdoors, finding ways to bother his sister and parents, the bad boy image he's created for himself, visiting other countries, discovering new varieties of plants, Iros' scientific advances, lazy afternoons spent in the gardens, gardening, reading, training, eating, toying with people (but never Townes, he may not like her romantically but he could never hurt her).
[ Dislikes ] : those who disregard science, dressing in finery, just...finery in general, keeping things from Townes, taking classes, being underestimated, being followed around by servants, royal gatherings, everyone being thrown together haphazardly at the Academy.[ Weaknesses ] : his stubborn nature, his constant need to be in the loop and to know whatever secrets the court holds, his family (they will always come first whether they like it or not).
[ Strengths ] : fantastic at boosting morale (even if whatever he's saying if full of shit), his charm, he's pretty talented with most weaponry.[ Secret No Other Character Knows About: ] Has been hiring spies to keep tabs on several other countries, made even easier by the new Academy.
[ Personality ] : Generally quite kindhearted, has only recently started being more cruel as he finds himself with more and more power within his family. Stubborn, lighthearted, tends not to take day to day life all too seriously but don't be fooled, when he sets his mind to things they tend to get done. Fidgety, impatient, fearless. Persistent. A messy bitch that lives for drama. The kind of person who loves to flirt but hate romances.
[ Bio ] : Dominic, like many of his Royal counterparts had a strict upbringing but not in your usual sense. Where most young Royals are subject to etiquette, Dominic’s family insisted he was raised with a serious education preparing him more for a career in science than in Royalty. His only experience with royalty as other countries may know it, was in his royal guard Townes. The two were raised together, following each others paths at every turn. Dominic turned to her when he needed a friend, creating an interesting bond between the pair that is alive even now. But Dominic, despite his stubborn nature has started to become swayed by realities of wealth and abundance and is no longer satisfied knowing only the secrets that Iros holds. Dominic is no tyrant, nor does he have the resources to be one but that will not stop him from discovering every countries secrets, no matter the cost.

So, I've decided to give a little background about Alex - headcannons or whatnot, just so you can have a bit of a clearer picture of her as a person and her real family aka her biggest secret.
Headcannons/Trivia/Stuff:
- Real name is Alexandria Marina Cattaneo. She's the youngest of three children and was fourth in line for the throne.
- She was, and still is the only living member of the Cattaneo family after the awful massacre that took place ten years ago on Christmas day. There are a lot of theories of who had done it, but only one as to why.
- The Kingdom of Tolosa is a fairly small country ruled by the Cattaneo family for centuries. Surrounded by four sister countries the Cattaneos have successfully managed to be on good terms with each and every one of them by marrying off their sons and daughters to the the sons and daughters of said sister countries - thus keeping the peace. But, not everyone agreed with the country's politics and its ruler's pacifist ways. Many people thought the Cattaneos were a weak, cowardly family, incapable of ruling the way a real royal family should rule.
- Alexandria or Alex had one older brother Marcus and an older sister Lillith - both of whom were incredibly overprotective of her. The two of them died trying to keep her alive; something she blames herself for until this day.
- After fleeing her country, Alex was raised in the orphanage of a sister country. Since she was quiet, a lot of her caretakers were slightly afraid of her so once she was of proper age they sent her away so she could train to be a defender. According to them, 'Someone as cold blooded as her, would be excellent when it comes to protecting the country'.
- Alex lacks basic social skills, not because she wasn't taught them from a young age, but because she's wary of people. She has major trust issues so it takes a lot of time to gain her trust and become her friend. Even those who call themselves her friends, aren't aware that the so called friendship is one-sided.

Family - Technically Clara, but neither of them are aware of it. Yet.

Vittorium was founded 400 years ago and while not as large as Britain or Spain, it is continually growing. After a group of citizens to a former country demanded a piece of land for religious and political freedom, they unanimously agreed to a monarchy so long as it was democratic in nature.
As such the Vittorian people elect officials to their bicameral parliament structure but the King or Queen have a say in the legislation passed.
Vittorium is a production based country and has a strong economy as they produce anything from car parts to Wine. The agriculture sect produces the second largest sum in the country. The defense forces are incredibly strong and well trained. The country once had a compulsory draft but has since grown and abolished it.
Adeline’s family have been on the throne since the founding of the country and have taken very good care. Adeline herself is heir to the throne and is set to take over upon completion of seventh year at St. Ivy’s.

Her Anxiety: It’s a huge weight on her shoulders that she’s got only four years before she is running a country. She is very nervous and the thought of making the big decisions weighs on her.
[ Strengths ] : Her family (So she thinks): She’s very close with her parents and younger siblings as before St. Ivy’s she didn’t really have anyone to talk to and while she has friends now it still remains.
Her People: her lack of confidence in herself is not the same feelings of her people. The nations confidence in their future monarch is astonishing and something that keeps her going.
[ Secret No Other Character Knows About: ]Engaged since birth, the family has hidden it from her and have pushed her into dating the man she is engaged to. They are worried the people will not want a woman to lead and have very little confidence in their daughter
Adeline's younger sister has problems that Adeline has covered up numerous times. Someone found out once and Adeline's mother had him framed with her doing nothing to stop it. She wasn't allowed to be involved because of the implications but she's her mother's alibi/cover
[ Personality ] : Adeline is Kind and Intelligent and you can always immediately tell this after meeting her. She comes off as Delicate and yet incredibly Elegant at the same time. She’s Quiet and very Thoughtful, always knowing when to say the right thing. She can be Anxious which causes her public speaking to take a lot of Courage. She’s quite Mysterious and Composed until you truly get to know her and she has some Trust issues.
[ Bio ] : Her Royal Highness Princess Adeline Seraphina Grace Victorum, Crown Princess of Vittorium, is born in the middle of the coldest winter in a long time. The country had been facing slightly higher taxes, an unfortunate increase in agricultural imports, and were needing a moral boost. The young princess was exactly that, and she has been this way since birth.
Ever the pretty princess, Adeline was always impressive with her easy mastery of languages, her skills in the arts, and her immense knowledge. Her smile seemed to be a huge moral boost and people always wished to see her on the balcony at the semi-annual events the royals hosted.
Adeline loved every second of being in the spotlight as a young child. However as she got older, her patience began to dissipate slightly. She wanted more privacy and to be able to be a somewhat normal teenager. But after spending so much time in the spotlight for her family, nobody else was willing to step up. Her younger sister had fallen into the enticing arms of drügs and her parents were always incredibly busy. So Adeline stayed in the spotlight, even more so when her parents pushed her to begin dating a fellow royal very heavily.
At age 15 Adeline began courting the man of her parents dreams. He was charming and thoughtful and knew exactly what he wanted in life. He was nurturing and inspiring all at once. Adeline could see why her parents liked him so much. As the second son he had no claim to his throne but was trained to marry an heiress. She had never actually known who specifically her parents wanted her to date but they had been so pleased that she just accepted it.
Adeline couldn’t help falling in love with him a little bit. He knew her struggles and taught her different perspectives she was struggling to comprehend. At school he mad sure to spend time with her and introduce her to his friends.
He was a regular prince charming.
At 17 Adeline is four years from graduation and becoming Queen. She hopes she will have someone by her side and not be alone in her struggles to protect her people and continue to cover for her family. All of the pressure is pushing her to a breaking point and she’s slowly bursting.
Nobody seems to notice.
