I am very excited to let you know that today we completed work on the functionality, which will allow you to copy all your sets from POLYVORE to URSTYLE
I know you are very attached to your artistic work and I know that you were worried that you could lose it for good, well, from today, you can share it with the world again
Steps to download your work from POLYVORE and upload it to URSTYLE:
- In order to download your sets sign in here: account-update.polyvore.com
- Click request download and wait a while until your content is ready to be downloaded.
- Open URSTYLE.
- Open EDIT PROFILE page.
- Click IMPORT YOUR OLD PROFILE button.
- Upload the ZIP file, which you have just downloaded from POLYVORE.
- Wait for file to be uploaded (it may take up some time, depends on how big is your file)
- Give us some time (there is a huge number of users in queue, it may takie from 1 to 24 hours) and ENJOY!
I have already uploaded my sets to my profile, how about you?
We also apologize for every bug you find on our site. We are working hard on fixing them all, so that you have great experience on our site.

Am I too late? I click the link and it is gone.. Does this mean everything I did since polyvore started is gone? I am devastated.

@jamie-kensinger Polyvore only allowed till May 15 to download and recover sets
it is possible that if you search your Polyvore username in Pinterest you may discover some of your sets. X -

Like I said to the other girl in this thread:
This is not a reason to loose hope! You can create amazing sets on Urstyle!
Polyvore was very nice, but now it's a part of the past and we should move on. Urstyle helped me recover from the loss and I've been creating sets whenever I have time and inspirationP.S. You can try searching Pinterest, your blog or other accounts where you shared your sets, in case you didn't get them from that Polyvore link. Then you can download them from those sites.

@winfreda Dear, if you're referring to your Urstyle profile and not seeing the "MY ITEMS" section on your profile, please make sure to clean the cookies & cache on your browser (I recommend Google Chrome)

It's most likely that it will take more time to upload your work, especially if you have 1 000 or more sets I didn't upload my old work on Urstyle (because I want a fresh start), but I've heard from other members that sets gradually start appearing on your page and this can last a couple of days.If upload takes too long, please note that you can contact Urstyle team via [email protected]

@winfreda Oh, I see. No, our items were not included in the .zip file that Polyvore provided
I'm really sorry, I miss my items too, I had thousands of them...Luckily, we have a new Clipper here on Urstyle, so we can upload new items from the web!

I've managed to find many Polyvore items searching for "My Polyvore finds" boards on Pinterest. Just make sure to search the accounts where you might have shared your work and items (like Pinterest, Blogger, Tumblr etc.).

I uploaded my sets, but i still can't see them on my profile. What i need to do?

@helloitsmari uploading sets may take some time especially, if there are a lot of them. In order to upload your sets correctly, you need to make sure you upload entire, original .ZIP file downloaded from Polyvore.
Once you do that, please do not close the tab until loader stops spinning - it means file is being uploaded. Please remember it may take some time.

it was a month but i haven't still my polyvore profile uploaded :((( i dont know why, i try several times to upload it i follow the instructions but nothing!!!my sister did the same and she obtain her profile, why can't i?

@olivpear yes i did the complete proceedings, i follow the instructions but i did not succeed to upload my profile, i'm sure i follow the right instructions because i did the same for my sister profile and she suceed to upload hers
