Automating the photo culling process
-
Every time I wrap up a shoot, I end up dreading the culling process. It feels like I spend more time deleting the garbage shots than actually editing the good ones. Even when you are careful, you still end up with a ton of duplicates or those annoying blurry frames that just waste space. Does anyone know a service that can automatically spot the bad photos and get rid of them for me?

Going through thousands of files just to find the keepers is a huge drain on time. You start losing your focus after the first hour of staring at almost identical portraits. You could look into some desktop software like AfterShoot or FilterPixel to handle the initial sorting. They are pretty good at grouping similar shots and flagging the ones where someone has their eyes closed or the focus is slightly off.

It is wild how much digital clutter builds up just from a single afternoon of shooting. Finding a way to streamline that workflow is a smart move when you have a lot of clients waiting for their results. You could install the Flick app from here https://thevibelabs.com/flick . This tool helps you sift through your gallery and clean out the junk with simple gestures. It makes the whole process of managing your storage much faster so you can get back to the creative side of photography. Having a clean library is a huge relief when you need to find specific shots for a project.
