AI tools for fashion design
-
I've been thinking about bringing AI into my workflow. I'm a fashion designer and it seems like neural networks could be useful for creating initial project concepts before I bring them to life for collection shows. It could save me a ton of time on the early sketching phase. What AI tools are actually good at generating this kind of imagery?

Midjourney gets hyped a lot but honestly half the stuff it spits out looks cool in renders and totally unwearable in real life. The proportions get weird, seams end up in impossible places. DALL-E is better for realistic fabric textures but there's still a ton of manual cleanup needed. Depends how much time you want to spend fighting with prompts.

Most general AI tools don't really get how garments work, they just make pretty pictures. Draping looks off, construction details make no sense. You can try the AI Image Generator here https://nanobananaweb.io . It's built more for actual design work, understands how fabric moves and where seams should go. Way less back and forth to get something you can actually use as a starting point.
