@greta-martin I gather it has become world news by now. I know CNN has it. Yes a scary experience but it will turn into an east low with lots of rain. You know it’s been the driest summer and now this and it’s Autumn. Most of here in the south have never experienced anything like this but our northern neighbours have informed us on FB. By northern I mean northern Qld. I will keep you all updated expected now to hit between-a window of 4pm tomorrow and Saturday morning. It’s Thursday evening here. It was expected tonight but it slowed down over warmer waters. Bless you all for your prayers my friends.

@sklooks Thank you Sandy, Jodie, Jen and Greta. Cyclone now expected to make landfall tomorrow morning after high tide thank God. Appreciate your prayers. As today goes winds expected to increase to cyclonic strength. It’s Friday the 9th here around lunch time. Once again thank you

@fashionmonkey Thank you sweetheart, cyclone got downgraded but is still causing high gusty winds and lots and lots of heavy rain. I slept through the ordeal but tonight Saturday night starting to sound like last night of strings winds. This old man Alfred is stubborn and has caused a lot of heartbreak. But I am ok thank goodness Praise God. Appreciated your prayers

So sorry that you lost a lot of food in your freezer, luckily you did not sustain any more damage. Thankfully all the prayers from your Urstyle friends helped a bit... @jewelsinthecrown So glad you made it through! I understand the feeling of sadness for those who had loss. I live in Los Angeles and the fires were heartbreaking. Even though I was about 15 miles away from the fires, I had this weird survivors guilt. It makes you so thankful for just the basics we take for granted. Hugs to you.
