background problem

I'm choosing something as a background and I can't put it literally in the background - meaning every other thing, such as clothing and accessories are being hidden by the background. How do I do this?

@charaklk Highlight the item you want to move to the background, then click on the down arrow as many times as needed to get it into the background as far as needed (depends on how many items are going to be in front) I hope that helps and makes sense.
