Disappearing Sets

Dear UrStyle:
On several occasions I have reported that sets I published have disappeared. I have never received an answer as to why this might be. I would like to know. This represents hundreds of hours of work and lost vision. Please help me out here. It is terribly discouraging. Thank you.

It's a long shot because they don't seem to do much on their profile, but have you tried sending a PM on their profile page..?.. I did that once and they answered, but it was a long time ago!

@kateolive Something I always do is to download a copy of my set at various stages of creation, including right before publishing - just in case it disappears like yours have sadly done.
That way, I can open a fresh 'create set' page, and click the upload button and find a copy of my set in my computer files. You might have already tried this, but if you haven't then I hope it helps.
I'm sorry to hear you've lost your sets, I know how discouraging it can be after spending so much effort on one.

I don't recall this ever happening on Polyvore. Do you? So there must be a way to solve the issue.
The poor UrStyle staff! They have enough to do!

@kateolive Yeah, I also don't recall there being too many (if any) problems on Polyvore; it worked very well, though I think it had been up and running for quite a while by the time I signed up. Like everyone I'm so grateful for everything @admin does to keep our wonderful URSTYLE working, though it would be nice if the glitches could be ironed out
Downloading the set file to keep as a backup is the only solution that has worked for me so far. It can also be useful if you want to use an old set as a template for a new one
