Can't Change Password

Today I tried to change my password but when I put in my old password that was saved and clicked to use the security generated one that you had to enter twice it kept saying that the password was too short when i know it wasn't bc it was security generated. I tried coming up with my own long one with the required numbers, etc., and even adding on to the security generated one at first to make it longer but the glitch just kept saying my new password was too short no matter what I put in. Thank you!
