Clipping Tool
-
@admin Question, have there been recent changes to the clipper tool? For whatever reasons, it does not accept the items that I clip to add to my collection. It gives the message that the item I am clipping is too small and cannot be embedded. This is happening more recently with MOST items that I try to clip and these items are no different than what I clip before. I noticed the change around 11-22-23. Also, if I use a different tool to remove the background first and then try to clip the Png item, the clipping tool does not accept the item. I hope you can understand my explanation. Feed back would be appreciated. Thank You!!

@Sheila-L Hello dear, I have had the same problem with the background remover, but not with items that are not edited to make png, I can just clip them .... I thought there was a problem with the site ; https://www.remove.bg/upload which I normally use without problems until recently I encountered the same problem you have ( image to small ) ....I tried with another site https://www.cutout.pro and it works perfectly ...you need to subscribe to use the site, it's free . I hope this helps you, have a nice day/evening my dear.

@greta-martin Thanks so much for this information. It is very helpful. It could be that Remove.bg has changed their site and no longer allows some sites to access their pngs. I will try the other site. Thanks again.

@sheila-l hi sweetheart, try still using remove background it has just been recent updated it looks different. Your items you clip must be 500x500 otherwise they won’t clip and they cannot be too huge either. I no longer clip my items I download my items then if they are too small I alter their size in a free program called Lunapic. That site is fantastic you can do all sorts of great things there with images. I then proceed to re download my items or save them over my original png graphic on my computer. I know it sounds long to do this and then I can upload them via items onto my page. It always works for me. Give it a go let me know if you need help with anything ok, cheers Michele

@jewelsinthecrown Thank you for giving me an alternate way to use the tools. I need to play with it a bit more to understand how they works. I appreciate your suggestions!

@jewelsinthecrown said in Clipping Tool:
Lunapic
So sad about Remove.com It must have happened recently that they do not allow non-paying members to use their tool. I am excited about Lunapic and the other one. I am going to give both a try.
-
@maisondeforgeron no you can still use it it’s still free. It has just changed its format that’s all sweetheart. Remove bg is still free.
-
@jewelsinthecrown I tried to use it recently and cannot use it any longer to upload to Urstyle, so I thought it wasn't free any longer. Perhaps, Urstyle is no longer supported by it or accepting it. I am definitely going to try and use one of the other tools. I think that I have tried Lunapic before and found it harder than Removebg.com No choice now. I will have to take the time to learn it LOL

@maisondeforgeron I have noticed a few using a free program online called slazzer, give that a go let me know what you think of that.

@maisondeforgeron I am using the tool suggested by @greta-martin. It's https://www.cutout.pro and it works just like the remove.bg use to work. I noticed that you do have to make an account, otherwise you are limited to a few objects. I tried the Lunapic tool, but it seemed complicated for me too. I would need to watch a tutorial on how to fully benefit from it.
Try cutout and see what you think. Happy clipping!! -
@sheila-l Thats good you found something sweetie. Yes Lunapic you need to play with it. But once you get the knack its great. If you need help with anything like that program let me know. its great for enlarging an image or minimising a image too. Have a great day creating ~Hugs Michele
