Placing set within proper "window"
-
I'm a newbie with URStyle and am struggling with getting my sets to center and be large enough. I know the boards say I should stay within the window and not have white space outside that window or frame. But I can't determine the boundaries of the window. If I use a frame, I center it, and always make sure that there isn't white space outside the borders. That doesn't seem to make any difference. Can anyone help -- talk to me like I'm a five year old, because that's how I'm feeling about now!

I usually center the set & then drag it over to the right side of the frame, enlarge it & then publish it. Most of the time this works although some of my sets wind up not perfectly centered.

@metter1 Hi Dear, I usually place my frame roughly in the centre to work with and then enlarge it just before I publish. Please note and this is very important, if you have any images or the squares the image goes in, outside your frame area, then when it publishes, it will go smaller. Try and work with png images where possible as you can cut these down to size, so they are right on your border edge. https://www.remove.bg/ is a useful tool for removing background images. Hope this helps.

Ollie: One thing I've noticed with remove.bg is that there is often blank space around an item once the background is removed. It can easily be trimmed to avoid throwing off the centering of the set.

@ollie Thanks for the information. I think I have made some progress with it now -- knock wood.
