A new UrStyle friend (@EmberViolet) uses her iPad to create Sets. I use a PC. Sometimes, the help I offer isn't helpful at all, as I use the website directly and I believe she is using the app. She wants to know how to resize frames (and other items) to fit and be dimensionally correct.

On my PC, I do just as I've instructed her to do, but apparently it's not working for her:

    • Click on the frame to select it.
There will be eight gray squares on the outline around it.
Place your cursor/mouse over any of those squares.
A double-sided arrow will appear as you hover over the square.
Left-click on the mouse to "grab" the arrow.
Then drag, while still holding down the left-click button.
You will see the frame move with your mouse/cursor. You can resize it by doing this.
You can make it longer, wider, whatever you wish.
Release the mouse button when you like the effect.

This is not working for her and I suspect it's because we use different platforms. Can anyone give her some help? Thanks much!

@funkyjunkygypsy i can do the same as you do with my IPad. I use no app. USE the webside. 🤓

  • Morbid Curiosities

@funkyjunkygypsy I use both. There are many frames that will not size properly unless you use the corners for a "locked ratio"

I use my iPad almost exclusively to create (I hardly use a laptop for anything these days …)

    On iPad
Touch the frame to select it.
There will be eight gray squares on the outline around it - 4 on the corners, 2 on the sides and 2 on the top/bottom
Place your finger on the corner squares and drag diagonally to increase the size of the frame with a locked aspect ratio.
Place finger on side squares to increase size width wise
Place finger on top and bottom squares to increase size length wise.
Remove your finger when you like the effect.

Note…it can sometimes be challenging in the app to get your finger on the squares if you use a small iPad, but I use a 12” size so it’s usually no problem. I will admit that like @johbri I prefer to use the website on my iPad over the app. The app is still a lil “clunkier” than the website.

    Hope that helps💕
