@fassionista I had Yesterday this problem with the site as it was out service, but today Is working good in every aspect except for “notifications “ I don’t receive any new notes for likes or comments or new topics!!!
Does anyone have the same issue or just me??

It was the ‘503 Service Unavailable’ error. It is an HTTP status code that means the website’s server is simply not available at the moment. Most of the time, it occurs because the server is too busy or because there's maintenance being performed on it. Getting more traffic than a site was built to handle, for example, almost always triggers a 503.

Sigh...okay, Thanks y’all! I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one.
I guess, I just wish we’d get a heads up when maintenance is being done so that I can plan around it. Unless of course as @jesuisunlapin said, it’s cos of too much traffic so the site crashes, which may just indicate growing pains that in many ways is a good thing, but again, I’d wish they’d let us know that too, even after the fact. In these uncertain times, communication with stakeholders is SO important.

@fassionista Agreed! Every other site/app I've used always gives us a heads-up for when they have scheduled maintenance and expect to be down for updates etc

@fatenmh @Fassionista @Sapora If I open a second Urstyle tab in my browser, my notifications, messages, etc usually are available. Not sure why or if this works for everyone! xx Hope

What I suggest we all do is Bookmark the link to UrStyle's Twitter Feed, as they do keep us up-to-date there, so when the site is wonky, the issue may be that they are up to something and have addressed this in a more visisble forum: https://twitter.com/URSTYLE?ref_src=twsrc^tfw

@funkyjunkygypsy that's a good idea!
I personally don't use Twitter and I know a lot of other URSTYLE users might not use it either so in the future I would appreciate it if @admin could keep us updated via these forums OR by sending out a site-wide notification to everyone so that it shows up when we log on with at least a 24-hour advance notice (other sites usually give anywhere from 48 hours to a week's advance notice)
An email notice would also be useful and does seem to be standard practice with other services
However I think the twitter bookmark is a great temporary fix

I don't use Twitter either. I hate all that stuff, but the Bookmark is well worth checking!
