The Great Featured Set/Home Page Dilemma (and how to move forward)

after the last big site issues I figured admin wasn't even bothering to do site up keep anymore. I also didn't like the way Polyvore did their main page, I was never once on it, here I am, so I dunno I think having people pick will show their bias and they'll choose their buddies and stuff like that but that's my opinion.

@funkyjunkygypsy I remember a thread like this previously. Apart from educating members, it went no where then and I doubt that it will go anywhere now, mainly due to it is Urstyle's form of free advertising and due to the fact admin just do not seem interested to protect it's members. One reason, I rarely put personal info in a comment. It would be great if we had the choice to be visible to outside this website or not. I guess it is a choice members make to use this website but the thing is how many know this when they sign up?
