If your group is set to "private"...

I'm not sure if this is intentional for those with new groups? I have made a couple of sets in the last few days with the intention of participating in a new group's contest. When I join, I get "invitation pending". If intentional, no worries! Just know that we cannot participate in your group contests until you accept our request to join.

@joy2theworld Hey sweetie, Have you checked mine lately? Did @admin ever fix the "Join Group" button? You probably wouldn't be able to tell since you're already in the group. I'll have to figure out a way to see if they fixed it. Thanks, Rhana

@Rboowybe ... Well, I at least see a button now but it's of course changed to "leave group" now that I am in the group. I hope these other two groups are not having similar issues. I sent the groups' owners a private message, too, so hopefully it's simply that they haven't been on UrStyle the last few days and will get to it when they return.

@joy2theworld Yeah, I'm gonna find someone I know is not in the group and ask them to check it. Maybe that is what's wrong with the others. Or they may have done them as Private, you never know. xo

There are groups that only want to choose members. It says status under the group name of "Public" or "Private." They have to go into Admin in their group menu and accept any pending members.
I don't know if they do it on purpose or accident. Sometimes they come back in a few days and accept the new applicants. -
Update: I heard back from both groups and was able to submit my sets before the end of the contest, and honestly that's my bad for not joining BEFORE I made them...lol. In both these cases, it was on purpose and no worries, your group your way, it's all good. I have seen it be not intentional though as well as site issues, like our buddy @Rboowybe's with her group, so decided to give a heads up to anyone thinking of starting a group.
