I cant upload any items or save items using a clipper

None of the items that I attempt to upload using the clipper appear in 'my items' and when attempting to upload pics from my computer they are all greyed out (as if to say theyre not the right format or something.. but theyre jpgs and also tried weblinks) so I cant select any of them.
