New clipper

I understand the desire to change up the clipper but idk why you had to make it go so slow now when it worked well the way it was before. The new clipper is extremally slow - taking 5mins to clip one item and even if they do clip the organiser isn't updating at all. it is still stating the same amount of items and pages even though large collections of items have been deleted.

The change in the clipper isn't improving the function of it. It's slower and frustrating. Perhaps explain how this feature is supposed to work will lessen the frustration. Trying to determine whether or not your item actually clipped and is going to upload is more cumbersome than before. Sometimes it shows a green check mark indicating item is uploaded but it's not, sometimes it shows an endless spinning circle but if you open another page and check the item is uploaded and other times it's doesn't upload at all. Sometimes it says item uploaded and the item isn't uploading or you have to wait a long period of time for it to upload. I have to have several Urstyle pages open just to figure out if I'm going to get the item posted, sometimes I can't tell what it's doing so I clip the item again only to find an hour later I've got the item duplicated.
Perhaps testing a new feature with a group of users to ensure it's proper functionality before releasing it to the entire site is something Urstyle can consider. @admin

I’ve been trying to clip a single item for half an hour. Beta testing new features would certainly do the trick.

@jesuisunlapin we didn't change the uploading process, only the visual layer of clipper has been changed and some bugs have been removed.
You don't need to keep this window open, it's informing you (in opposition to the old creator) that this particular item has not been published at URSTYLE, but all required data has been already transferred to us and we are trying to "clip" this item.
We will improve that visibility layer to show the following information:
- item has been transferred to us, so now you can safely close this window
- item is in the publication queue
- item has been successfully uploaded
- item has been rejected because of -- error message
