Pax - My Life as a Multiple #28

Pax is one of Mel's alters. Mel is helping me write this blog entry by being co-present with me in the body. So you are hearing from both of us at the same time. Mel's system has 12 alters. Pax is the 3rd one I have written about.
Pax came to Mel after she was involved in a car accident that nearly killed her. She says when she woke up, Pax was there helping her. Pax is a healer. She is a very kind and gentle soul. Mel says she used to be abrasive at times but after Pax came, she had a softer and more gentle side. Most people thought the accident changed Mel but Mel said it was just Pax speaking through her and healing her body and soul.
Mel was very young, 17. She was married to a mean and abusive man. Mel didn't know he would be this way since he had not been that way while he was dating Mel. Mel's parents signed for her to marry this man and so she did. He moved her several states away from her family. Soon after they were married, they were involved in a car accident that nearly took Mel's life. It was at this time Pax appeared. Mel says Pax often kept her from abuse by being so kind and sweet in her demeanor. But sometimes it didn't matter, the fights still came.
It was hard on Mel to go from type of abuse in her home to another type of abuse in her marriage but she survived. Her alters helped her. The abuse caused other alters to emerge to deal with it and I will discuss them in later blogs.
Pax is a healer for both systems. She is able to feel a fever and can tell you what the temperature is to within a degree. Pax can lay hands on us and on others and make them feel better. She is quite good at knowing which medicines will help us all. Pax can give shots, do all kinds of medical procedures with ease. She puts people at ease when she is around. Mel is afraid to look at blood but Pax isn't bothered at all by blood or any other body fluids. She's like a nurse and a healer at the same time.
Pax loves flowers and the color pink. She loves pink roses and is thrilled at the rose bushes that grace our garden. She is one of the lightest parts of Mel's system. Pax is good with children and they love her.

Ahhh, sweetie, Pax is a perfect name for her, I think she was sent by your guardian angel, I believe in angels and I think Pax was sent by yours, she may even be a spirit guide. Glad you are rid of that awful man and have found the love of your life Jesse. I feel God placed each of you in your path.There were something like 20 million users on poly so it was destined you meet. I have a friend I met on poly, she lives in Mexico, we were matched as friends also and help one another through rough patches.I think good people in our lives are blessing, the mean people we come across teach us lessons too, they teach us who we don't want to be. It is easier to walk away from bad situations when we are adults, but children don't have that privilege without intervention. Pax is gorgeous! Have a lovely Sunday!

I don't really know what to say this time. I can understand Mel needing an alter to help her thru her abuse and a traumatic car accident. I sometimes wish I had help thru my abuse and some trama I experienced. I don't know that I could have dealt with all you have and all the alters so well. I truly believe they were all sent to help you and thank God they keep the secrets so that you don't have to relive them all. You seem happy doing this blog, I hope that you are! @sjlew I think you may be right. Pax may very well be our guardian angel. She surely has saved us many times and acts graceful much like an angel. She has comforted and helped many schoolchildren who certainly think of Mel as an angel because of Pax. Thank you so much for your comment! Your insight has been so inspirational to us!!
