Clipper

  • @admin, @vn1ta

Good morning (at least where I am at, lol) I know there has been a few topics made recently about the clipper and items not working properly. I have even replied to one. However, I feel like maybe I need to be more detailed with the issue I'm having because I don't feel that it's on my end.

I can manually add items, which I don't mind it's just time consuming.

When I got to use the clipper however one of two things happen. 1) The Clipper outline with show up over the site but nothing else. or 2) It will ask me to sign in and then when I put in my info and hit log in it just freezes.

I have cleared my browser history twice and it is still doing this. I started having issues when there was an update or move with the servers.

I use Safari. I'm not totally sure what else to do.

I also just uninstalled the clipper and reinstalled it...still having the same issues.

    Thanks, Brandy

Dear Brandy, is receiving cookies from URSTYLE enabled on your browser? It is possible that an ad-block is preventing Clipper from working properly.

Please note that you should clear cache & cookies, not browser history. You can find the instructions for that action here under Troubleshooting: https://urstyle.com/topic/1553017/faq ⬅

Would you consider testing Clipper on another free browser (Chrome, Mozilla...)?

Would you consider resetting Safari to its original settings, if none of the above helps? Please make sure to read more about that action here: https://macpaw.com/how-to/reset-safari-on-mac ⬅

    Have a good day! ♥

  • I have done all of this except the resetting because well I have way too much info saved to do that.

I'm really not wanting to be hard to get along with here, but something is wrong and it's not coming from my end. I have chrome, it works there, but it is not my main browser, in fact I don't like using it at all.

And i wasn't having this issue until a week/a week and half ago and I remember having the notice pop up about something being changed over.

@bboles3984 The problem with Clipper freezing in Safari is on the list of the issues to be fixed. Thanks for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.

I am having the same experience with the add on provided to work with Firefox. Since I just joined yesterday, I have no idea what I should be seeing. a "SAVE" button, perhaps? I've cleared cache and cookies, and am using private browsing. Any clues?

@e-maggie Dear, you should accept the cookies from URSTYLE (from that notification on the bottom) 🙂 If you cannot see it, just click CTRL & - (minus) on your keyboard to zoom out the page.

  • @vn1ta Thank you for your help. After a thorough attempt with Firefox and Safari, I found Chrome works well. I appreciate your concern!
