I have an idea. Giving people advice.
People send in questions about fashion or beauty. Then members give suggestions.E.g. help with what to wear for events, how to style an item, makeup looks for diff occasion or outfit to suit body type...
We could help by typing an answer, sharing photos or even making sets to inspire others.
What do you think of this helpful idea?

Sounds like fun! There are so many beauty products out there that I have tried that were either great or real duds and wouldn't mind sharing those things. As far as clothing, I only buy from Catos. They don't have single item clothing, so I get my inspiration from them and then go out and look for stuff. I think my style would be too simple for people in that area, but beauty things I can help with.

@MaisondeForgeron that could be fun, I’m always styling people IRL, cos I like making people look their best! Way back in the day when I was on ShopStyle when they had a platform like this, we used to have a group called “Style Moi” (I think). Anyway, the group coordinators would select each week a purse or shoes or some piece of clothing for the members to style and choose who styled it best. Only downside is people always have things they cant /won’t wear (e.g. open toed shoes, kitten heels, the color orange, polyester, crew neck sweaters, anything that shows their knees) for absolutely no good reason. (which is why I am not a stylist).

@fassionista On Polyvore there was a girl who would choose a shoe and we would style around it. She eventually had the winner of the last contest pick the shoe for the next contest. It wasn't a very big group about 4-5 each contest, but it was a fun idea. I cannot remember her name from that group and have wondered if she has come to this forum.

Of course, users can use the forum now and give each other tips or ask about fashion advice. I'd suggest using the "SHOPPING" section for that purpose: https://urstyle.com/category/35/shopping 
You can access it via COMMUNITY > (scroll down til you see FASHION sub-category) > click SHOPPING section.
