Imported images are not adding to set in full size when creating set.

Dear friends, the admins require specific item links (the ones that are problematic - cut in half, in this case), so please post them and they will check it asap

Here are two of them https://www.modaoperandi.com/maison-margiela-pf18/dropped-pocket-high-rise-wide-leg-jeans
https://www.modaoperandi.com/frame-denim-pf18/le-nouveau-straight It's taking a while to figure out the other ones. @vn1ta -
@fashionmonkey Thank you very much, dear
But I think they meant imported items (here on URSTYLE)
I apologize for not clarifying it earlier.
-
Like this? https://urstyle.com/shop/10574458 @vn1ta
-
@fashionmonkey Yes dear, thank you
-
@fashionmonkey I've just checked that item in the Creator. In the "No background" mode, it loads like it's cut, but in the "Full background", it loads properly (shown on pics below)
-
@vn1ta https://urstyle.com/shop/10714793 When I opened it, it was a Google image, and it doesn't even show me which one. I don't think this will be much help. Sorry.
-
@maisondeforgeron I see what you mean - same problem there. It's cut in half on "No background" setting.
-
Dear friends, @Ollie @FashionMonkey @MaisondeForgeron @romaboots one of the admins told me to recommend you to try re-uploading the problematic items. He said that changes related to image upload and conversion were applied on August 28.
Please try this and let me know if it works for you
-
@vn1ta The funny thing is that it was fine in drafts and didn't do this until I published it. There are many of this image on Google, so I will try uploading again. I preferred this one in my set, but put the set into edit and put another image in its place for publishing. If it works, I will have my original set back!
-
@maisondeforgeron Ugh, I've just tested it with one Moda Operandi item and it was cut in half in "No background" mode...
I will let the admins know about that right away. I'm not sure if it will work for you, so I apologize for the previous comment. I will come back with more news as soon as possible.
-
@maisondeforgeron It seems that high-resolution images are creating this problem. The Clipper needs to convert all uploads to similar or same size with an average image quality - that should solve these problems, in my opinion.
-
@vn1ta I just went in to edit and switched it to the original item. It was taking so long to publish. I went to clear out my cache. It finally published and looks like it will be okay now. I hope it stays that way. I will check on it to make sure. Thanks for all your help again. You are a wonderful woman!
-
@maisondeforgeron I'm so glad that it worked for you!
Let's see how it goes for others. And thank you very much for the compliment, I truly appreciate it!
-
@vn1ta I tried re-uploading some of the Moda items and it still was cut in half in the non-background mode.
-
@fashionmonkey Thank you for letting me know, dear. I tested it too and, unfortunately, it didn't work
I will tell the admins about it, no worries.
Have a good day! -
@vn1ta Not to pile on another problem but I also get image distortion on some items from Modaoperandi. The items look like they're metallic (mainly printed items). I've worked around this by clipping them to Pinterest and then back onto URStyle. I'm wondering if there's some techno glitch in the Moda items. I do get the "cut in half" problem with other websites from time to time but Moda is the worst.
-
@romaboots Did this happen recently? One of the administrators told me that changes related to image import and conversion were applied on August 28. It seems that high resolution / large sized items are causing many problems.
-
Yes, the image distortion continues to be a problem with mostly printed items I clip even recently. I want to thank you for your diligence in looking into these glitches for us all. You are much appreciated!!
-
@romaboots Thank you, dear
Are you encountering issues with images cropped in half (in "No background" mode) like other users in this topic, or do you have problems with image resolution (distorted, blurry, pixelated images)?
