Recent Site Problems

As I am sure all users across all communities can attest, it has been incredibly frustrating to have fluctuating and regular site problems in recent weeks - it feels the site has barely been live for the last two days, for example! I feel it will die by neglect rather than anything underhand or sinister like Polyvore, but I for one (and I am sure there are others!) would be willing to pay a couple of bucks per month to contribute to its upkeep!
Can I ask if there are any admins here anymore (even on a part-time basis?!) and if there is still a willingness to keep this site going? If not, could there not potentially be some expertise within the community/our own networks?

@noblesseoblige You can see problems regarding the site discussed on Facebook. See the link. Basically no admin is maintaining the site so we have to wait for someone to fix the problems when they get around to it. It's very frustrating. Not sure if they posted the response to Instagram you can check if you have it.

@noblesseoblige @idetached Gosh!! Just now able to get on site!! I see others were able to access before now. It would be great if we could find someone to help with upkeep. I would pay a fee. The site is very unstable... I would hate to see the site completely go away. I don't have facebook so I just keep checking. Hope there is a resolution soon. Hope everyone has a great weekend xx

@lastchance Exactly! It seems a miracle at the moment that the site is live for more than ten minutes. I feel (judging by the community) there are a lot of users who value this place. I am very nervous of it going to way of Polyvore, but we will see.....

Just wanted to suggest something else - a lot of the articles on the homepage are a few years old now. If it were possible, I wonder if users could write our own articles about fashion, art, home decor etc? Everyone is so creative on URSTYLE and I've learned about so many new designers, artists and trends from my time on here. I think it would be really cool for users to be able to post new articles to keep the site fresh and interesting. As you say, its concerning to think it might die by neglect. There are so few places as unique and creative as this one, and it would be sad to see it fade away
